Great shoe for business travel because of (1) weight - it's much lighter than your typical US-made dress shoe, and (2) it's got that European construction (and flair..), so that you don't immediatelly stand out :) , (3) style - go equallly well with either suit or jeans.. It's a classic oxford design (much preferred to a derby..), so they fit very comfortably from the moment you put them on.Great shoe - I have another pair in tan.

I really enjoy these shoes and the brand, the quality of the leather and manufacture, and also the comfort. I always have some troubles with the instep (To tight with other brands) but these ones are really like a glove, you can put it on brand new from the box and use all day. Thanks Hudson!

These shoes are better than I even expected. I typically wear a size 12 1/2, ordered a size 13, and they fit perfectly. I plan to wear them with a suit, but can easily see them working with a pair of jeans as well.

These shoes fit like a glove right out of the box. The quality, weight, and feel are all awesome.I wont' harp on about style because that's largely subjective, but I love them. If you're in between sizes I'd be tempted to drop down so they're more snug--but try them on in a high street shop first if you're unsure (or don't like returning things!)The laces are thin, flat wax laces--and while they're structurally sound you might want to invest in some round wax laces (around 70-80cm) just so you have a bit more to hold on to when lacing up. It's probably a matter of preference, so see how you get on, but I reckon round is the way to go.Nothing bad to say apart from maybe the leather insole that only goes halfway down the shoe... seems a bit cheeky/cheap from Hudson not to include a full leather insole--I can see it peeling back or getting caught on socks in the future, but that's just speculation at this point!Highly recommended--even nicer (imo) in light tan! (Although I got grease on mine on day one and ruined them by trying to fix them!) Apparently talcum powder over night works well. Oh well... I'm going off track....

This is the first pair of Hudson shoes that my husband has bought so he was unsure of the sizing. He is between a size 6 and 7 and has found the 7 to be a good fit. The quality of the shoes is very good and it was good to get them at the reduced price. While he has said that the shoe fits as expected if you are between sizes it is probably better to go up as I have found that in the ladies boots Hudson can be on the neat side my husband found this to be the case in the mens shoes some of which he had tried in both sizes.

Good looking shoes. Not overly comfy (I find walking in them rubs the back of my ankle somewhat), but good enough. Apparently running for the bus was a bad idea too, the heel has come loose because of that! But overall, I would get them again.

I've owned these shoes before and the quality is obvious. When I received this order they didn't feel quite right and on closer inspection the Hudson branding is not as in the photos. I checked the Hudson website and the photos on Amazon are the same as Hudson. I am concerned these are a cheaper knock off!
