Upper Deck UPD91758 2019 Legendary: Revelations, Multi Review: Great Expansion for the money - This is a mid box expansion, which contains around 9 heroes and around 200 cards. The dynamic around this set is the "location" cards and "hyperspeed" mechanic. The hyperspeed mechanic is similar to berserk from other sets. I feel like this set does a lot with how little it is. The location cards can be rough, but the management of them can be a nightmare at times. However It does give the game a different feel. The real stars of this pack are the heroes it includes and the mastermind the Mandarin. Mandarin has his own rings henchmen which are fun to play against. Heroes are all Avengers so if you have the base set and needed more of those types of heroes you get some good ones in War Machine, Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver. The heroes are really well done in their mechanics too. Quicksilver and Speed with Hyperspeed can scale damage really quick. Darkhawk has dual recruit/dmg mechanics too. This in my opinion should be the 3rd set purchased either after one of the premier big box sets (WW Hulk/X-men/Dark City) Review: Great addition to the Legendary world - This set brings in a number of well known names to the Legendary Universe like Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and War Machine. The mechanics are pretty cool too with Hyperspeed X and Dark Memories having nice synergy (gain power by discarding X cards from the top of your deck and then gain power based on cards in your discard pile). Overall though, new keywords don't sell me on the set usually. This set is not just "more of the same" though. They bring in transforming schemes which provide a cool twist to the game. The locations, while not having as much impact as I was hoping, allow for some different challenges when attacking villains and again, they provide a different game experience than just more heroes and villains. Plus, I got this for $15 for 200 cards compared to the $20 I paid for 100 cards in the SHIELD set so it's a great deal.

Great addition to the Legendary world

More Bang for your Buck
This is quite possibly the best bang for your buck when it comes to small expansions. I got it at $15 and it adds 9 Heroes I believe. Not to mention the villains/henchman/mastermind. On top of that, it introduces some great new abilities and some legit strong characters like Scarlet Witch. Good addition to the Legendary set.

Great
Adds alot of abilities in a small expansions with decent masterminds. This is a great expansion. I rate this in one of my most desirable ones

Location! Location! Location!
A great expansion for Marvel Legendary. The location cards add needed variety to a game that already has a lot of keywords.

Avengers-Themed Expansion
People had been asking for an Avengers version of the X-Men expansion, filling out their pantheon of team members, and this set seems to attempt to do so. Containing only two stacks, it is less than the four-stack big expansions. However, there are also less filler cards that introduce mechanics (traps in X-Men, schemes in Secret Wars 1, sidekicks in Civil War and Secret Wars 1). There are several heroes to choose from, including: Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, War Machine, a Shield-affiliated Carol Danvers (whose appearance is reminiscent of her film costume), Young Avenger Speed (who had a split-card cameo in Civil War). The main drawback to the set is that the price I about as high a big expansion set for something that has less (even if it were filler). If getting rid of extras--which I often did not like or want to use anyway, then cut down on the price as well.

Keep them coming!
Legendary has been hours of fun for me and my 18yr old. Love the double sided scheme twists. The shipper was great....got it quickly.

Great value
Yes, you do need the core set to play this but for the money you getting a good deal. Normally you only get 100 cards for $20 but this has double that for the same price. This goes great with all the other sets.

Great Challenge for Experienced Players
I picked up the Legendary: Revelations expansion, and it really adds a lot of depth to the game. The new heroes, villains, and transforming schemes keep things exciting, and the addition of Locations changes up the strategy in a fun way. It is more challenging than some of the earlier sets and comes with a few extra rules to keep track of, but for me, that just made it more engaging. Overall, it’s a great expansion if you already enjoy Legendary and want more variety and challenge in your games.
