Perfect. Built like a swiss watch crossed with an army tank.

We installed three of these several months ago. The pressure balance feature works great. All three showers maintain pressure and temperature regardless of faucets in the rest of the house (four). And they are as shiny as chrome can get.Somewhat Euro in appearance and far less imposing than American-made shower faucets, but that's just what we wanted.

This dual function control works well, and we have had no problem with the hot water control with this unit, which was installed by our contractor. One consideration for visitors, however, is that it is a precise product that takes a little orientation to use. It's a sleek, useful product!

Bought a 3 year old house with one of these. Now it's 5 years old and the shower wouldn't stop dripping. Plumber removed the cartridge and said it was wasted from bad water (lots of hard pieces inside cartridge). Grohe doesn't honor warranty for anyone beside the original purchaser, so plumbing store said a replacement cartridge would cost $170... Yikes! I found this for cheaper and it included the trim plate and handle, so now it works, and we have a real warranty.

I love it.

lesson learned; check the flow diagram before buying it. The outlet above has half water output than the one below. I am not sure what reason behind this but it is insufficient for the shower.

Using Grohe for a decade in my renting apartments.. Saves hot water and water in general since their parts are easy and precesise to control..Parts are all made off with quality materials and precise engeneering..

It is a nice piece of faucet. I like it, however, the cover piece is made from hard plastic with chromed paint.Since it is relatively more expensive compared to other brands, I thought it is made of chromed stainless steel or brass.The paint is flawless, but I would expect the cover piece will be less durable and more susceptible to abuse than my old ones as it is made from plastic. You will have to be careful when you use it.
