TYRAdult Long Hair Wrinkle-Free Silicone Swim Cap

I don’t remember this long hair version being an option when I was a swimmer in high school. It’s so nice! Much more comfortable, plenty of room for my long hair but still feels snug and secure around the edges. It’s very stretchy and easy to put on. This is not the best for keeping hair dry, it’s more for keeping it out of the way for a swim workout. I ordered purple and the color is pretty different from what was shown, but I love it! It’s more of a dark, shimmery purple.

I have thick, long hair and recently purchased Speedo's long hair swim cap, but it was way too small for me and kept slipping off my head while swimming. The TYR cap though has plenty of space for my hair and works great!

This is not the torture device I remember from my childhood type of swim cap, it was easy to put on and did not hurt. It fit snuggly on my head and while my hair was not completely dry, I still felt my hair was protected from harsh chemicals.

Nice quality, to small for me

My head circumference is 57cm, and I have chin-length hair. This swim cap fits really well and stays in place. If you don't like the large brand logo on your forehead, you can wear the cap inside out. It's easy to put on, and isn't glued to your hair like the uncomfortable Speedo caps that also don't stay in place. Highly recommend the TYR swimming cap.

My hair is 6" longer than my shoulder. I was able to get it into this swim cap and my hair stayed dry. However it left a mark around my forehead. Also, left it to dry on edge of bathtub and cat chewed it up. LOL. Watch out for critter destruction.

i love this swim cap! my hair isn't that long but the extra bump helps a lot with my pony tail. it covers my ears so helps with not getting water in my ears (and i wear my ear plugs) . Also comes off easily without pulling my hair out.

I have medium length wavy hair and swim daily. I have tried many swim caps to keep my hair dry!! While no swim cap is capable of keeping hair 100% dry, here is the routine and products that I have found to keep my hair 85% dry. The 2nd photo is of my hair is right after swimming breastroke and freestyle laps doing flip turns, swimming underwater to 12 feet deep, and floating on my back. Then I flip my head upside down and put the TYR cap on with the letters in the front. I ensure that the cap is fully over my ears and hair. Next, I put the Sync hair guard over the TYR cap with the words right side up in the front. I make sure it overlaps the swim cap by about a cm on all sides. Finally, I tie the resistance band strip like a headband over both, making sure it is tied under my ears. The goggles go over everything. Since this pair is small they seal even though the cap is close to my eyes.After swimming I rub a half teaspoon of ascorbic acid powder between my hands and over the wet parts of my hair to neutralize the chlorine instead of getting my hair more wet by rising. This is the active ingredient in expensive swim products, but much cheaper to buy on it's own. I then apply leave in conditioner to the damp areas.

This is a nice, thicker cap that fits my braid under it and stays on. I use it for open water swimming. Might be a bit warm for pool swimming, although I'll try it this winter. Silicone caps are great for anyone who is tired of the cap splitting open as you put it on. They last and last. I'm happy.

Normale Kappen sind gerade ein wenig zu knapp bei meinem kleinen, kräftigen Zopf. Diese hier geht angenehm tief über die Ohren und auch hinten am Haaransatz wirklich schön tief. Viel großzügiger als normale Kappen, aber trotzdem kein Zelt. Material ist relativ dick, toller metallic Glanz. Tolle Kappe!
