Devastating design flaws
Generally, an acceptable product but with some devastating design flaws that almost render it useless. Good points are that it is light and versatile in that you can use it with the legs sitting under the sofa or sitting in a chair with it across your lap or in bed, etc. However, there are some negative points:1. why a metai desk top and plastic legs? That makes no sense as the structural weakness is in the legs so a plastic top would suffice here.2. Although versatile, it's actually limited significantly by where the 'clicks' are in the articulated legs, which means to get the ideal height you have to contort the legs into all sorts of positions to get it just right. I wouldn't want to keep adjusting it to different applications!3. the lip on the front is enormously deep and sits way above the edge of most modern laptops. This means your wrists sit on it which is noth comfortable. Would be much better to put a grippy material on the desk top and remove the lip. I'm using it the wrong way round with the lip at the back because of this.

Excellent tray with adjustable legs
Although this is advertised as a "laptop tray", I bought it primarily to use to prop up large heavy books, either while reading in bed or sitting in a chair. It's absolutely great - I wish I'd bought one years ago! The three pivots of the legs can be adjusted in increments of 15 degrees, which allows for a huge range of different heights and positions. The adjustment action is easy and very positive - there's a "click" at every angle increment and a pointer on the face of the pivot shows you the angle.I find that for sitting in a chair, a lower pivot angle of 30 degrees, a middle angle of 60 degrees, and a top angle of 60 degrees is perfect, while for reading in bed I increase the angle of the top pivot to 75 degrees. When I finish reading it all folds flat in a few seconds and is just as quick to unfold again. The tray (made of anodised aluminium) is extremely sturdy. Even with my heaviest "coffee table" books it's rock solid and doesn't bend at all.I'd recommend this thoroughly. Simply superb!

A great bit of kit - highly recommended
I love this. I have problems with tech neck and the best position for me to work in is standing up. I had looked at the standing work stations but they are hundreds of pounds. Instead, I have been using a variety of boxes place on sideboards and chests of drawers which are ok but it has been difficult to get all the other stuff I need (separate keypad and mouse, bits of paper) on the work surface. This lovely table desk feels good quality, works a treat and it looks so much nicer than a scabby old box. The adjustability means my husband, who is almost a foot taller than me, will be able to use it (if I Iet him). He also has big operation coming up and I'm sure he'll use this for the few days when he might stuck in bed. Highly recommended.

Great Laptop/Book Stand
Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this, but I am really impressed with this stand. There's no setup; it's ready straight out of the box and really easy to figure out which way to angle to get the height/tilt you need. As you can see from the pictures even at a really high setting it is still very stable and barely wobbles when you type. Considering how sturdy it is, it is surprisingly lightweight and could be picked up easily along with your laptop mounted on top of it if you so desired. Some people have stated that you can't adjust the legs while a laptop is on-top, but this just isn't true. If you can hold your laptop with one hand, then you will have no issues adjusted while mounted.I was concerned that the legs would scratch my desk as they are just plastic, but that hasn't been the case at all. The one thing I would like extra, though, would be for the ends of the legs to have some kind of rubber sealing, or at least a gripping material somewhere on the bottom of them so that the stand doesn't slide back when I use it to write on. Although this is not an issue when using a laptop so no complaints.

Superb Design
Excellent design, with the ability to position the 'legs' in many ways. Lacks ventilation in the table, but that doesn't seem to cause any problem with my laptop (and even then it would be easy to adapt the spacing). It seems sturdy enough (that I bought a second one). Only time will tell how robust the joints are, but they appear to be of good quality, with stable, definite, 15 degree positions.I use one at work, 'back-to-front', with a laptop docking station, which required building up the table with 10mm A3 lightweight expanded-PVC board, to allow space for the many cables. The home one, for my 19" home laptop, works perfectly, 'out of the box', i.e. without any modification.
