The Zoku packs are designed to be used with Zoku containers, the lids have a space for the freezer pack to keep what’s inside the container cold. But of course, the Zoku freezer packs can be used without the containers, in coolers and lunch bags.The Zoku freezer packs are lightweight. I like the cutout in the center, it’s easy to grab them out of the freezer.The Zoku freezer packs don’t stay cold as long as a thicker blue cold pack, about 3-4 hours in my testing. I use them in a cooler along with the blue packs, to keep groceries cold when I make a journey to the nearest TJ’s. I like the slim design, I can nestle the Zoku packs along the sides of the cooler and not lose as much interior space.They are made in China. Handwash only to clean, which is printed on each cold pack as a reminder.
