Snailfly Crossbars Fit for Hyundai Palisade 2019-2024 Black Lockable Cross Bars Roof Rack Luggage Accessories

We were taking a family vacation and needed additional space for luggage. I purchased the crossbars and a soft luggage carrier for the trip. I was a little skeptical as I didn't think the item would arrive before we left for our trip. The seller came through and delivered them in plenty of time to install prior to our trip. The crossbars were easy to install and I used my soft turtle shell as the space guide but ensured that the distance was still within the recommendation of the crossbar manufacturer. Pay attention to the pieces that secure the crossbars to the vehicle as they are label for "Left" and "Right". Overall the crossbars were easy to install and held up great on our trip. I had no issues with the load on top of our Hyundai Palisade and though I read reviews about hearing a noise when going down the highway, I didn't notice any noise at all. It was definitely a good purchase.

Short and sweet - this does not fit a Palisades, it broke during installation, instructions are very bad and quality is poor (mainly because it does not fit car it is advertised for).I returned and bought the OEM cross bars from Hyundai. It was such a difference in quality. The mounting arms on the snail fly are not designed to fit a Palisades. It would easily pull off if you give it a good pull. Please save your money.

I don't know why many people complain it doesn't fit the Pallisade (may be I do). It does fit the Pallisade. I installed one yesterday.Few things to note: the instruction is useless. I am sure many people will find that confusing.The package came separate and needs an assembly first. That took me some time to understand how to do that. I had to figure that out on my own (with YouTube's help) as the instructions assume the cross bars are assembled.The length of the cross bars are different, but that's good. The longer one goes in the front. I put that between the sunroof and the moonroof. While installing that, you may have to adjust the length. That is explained in the instruction. It is not very clear but it is easy to figure out. The shorter one goes in the back, which I installed about half a foot from where the moonroof ends. Overall, quality seems okay/decent.The installation instructions are not helpful, hope someone does a 5min video or write a better one. It took me about an hour to unbox and install overall.

Great product!!! We needed to carry two kids size kayak. Installed pretty straight forward. I would highly recommend it. And yes you can still open the sun roof.

These crossbars do the job and I think they are fine for the price. Set up was not hard, but like other users noted the direction could be better. It should also be noted that the bars are both a slightly different lengths so there is clearly a front bar and rear bar, but they are not labeled. Finally, I would just say tighten them up snug and keep the allen wrench and keys in the car. We used ours for the first time and I had to redo one bar because it started to pull up.I will use the bars for now but probably seek something else out next year.

First of all, this is a great roof rack for the money.I like that it is flat. Other racks are more arched, and if you have to carry something like a big playwood sheet from Lowes, they don't work as well as this one does.I installed it in a Palisade 2020, and it fits. It takes exactly the same amount of time to mount than every other one. Once you put it together, installing and removing it is the same with every roof rack.WHAT I DIDN"T LIKE: It is that the four "boots", the parts that grab to your car roof, didn't fit "perfectly". There was a gap between the plastic boot and the metal bar. Somehow I feel that this may cause a little more vibration or let dust and rain in and eventually complicate things. But this is just what I fear. I didn't actually see it happening.WHAT I LIKED: The rack is sturdy. I have no concerns with it being able to carry the 150 pounds that it is rated for. It can definitely carry more, but they have to rate it for worst case scenario.It is flat, as I already mentioned.It has enough clearance to open the solar roof in the carIt is very well priced. It you are only going to use it sporadically you don't need to spend a penny more.

Husband installed these on our new Palisades, pretty quick instillation, haven't been able to fully test the strength so I only did 4 stars on sturdiness.

I purchased these cross bars to fit on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade, but these cross bars do not fit a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. If you need cross bars for a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, DO NOT buy these.I also noticed they were not good quality and did not come with any installation instructions.

Does not fit right against side rails, so there is a gap between. Should hold, but haven’t used them yet.
