I smelled this at Macy's before and actually loved it, but because Jay Z's name was on it, I passed, not being a fan of his (aka knowing next to nothing about him). I decided to give the mini a try when I went to Kohls so I'd have some cologne for vacation, and I was blown away again. I ended up buying the gift set and some of the shower gel because of how great this stuff is!The first thing you smell when opening the cap is a combination of grapefruit, blueberry and ginger. You'll get a different scent depending on where you spray it. If you spray it on your wrist or arm, it usually goes straight to a vanilla and amber mix. If you spray it on your throat, you'll get what you smell from the cap. Overall this scent lasts about 5-6 hours on me, so I would suggest reapplying every so often or spraying it on your clothes (and since the shower gel is only about $7 here, showering with that).You don't have to be a fan of Jay-Z's to buy this. If you're not, don't make the mistake I made and pass it up the first time around. It's a great fragrance that can cover a wide variety of occasions.
