Fluid head is amazing. Tripod is OK... bottom spreader is sort of awkward especially if you move around a lot. Something about these manfrottos irks me... I think I pefer a simpler one-piece design. Still very solid and I use them frequently. They are surprisingly lightweight.

A little stiff at first to spread the legs from a closed position but I'm getting the hang of it. The fluid head feels really smooth and has a nice counter balance for my Sony FS700 w/ a few attachments.

This is a great low cost alternative to high end tripod/head combos. I'm a video professional with over 20 years experience. The draw backs on this tripod are small in comparison to the savings. If you don't have the money to "go large"... then this is the tripod for you.

Works great! Except now I want the new video head with the quick release thumb screw on the side.

Firstly, about the seller CF Card: Wonderful service and very quick response when contacted. The courier service didn't provide any details on their website for some reason and it got me worried. But I contacted the seller and found out they are actually Royal Broadcasting, the official importer and distributor for Manfrotto. They apologized for the miscommunication despite the fact that it was not their fault! Now about the product: Well, I had been using this setup for more than a year in a production house, now I purchased it for myself from Amazon for Rs. 44,900. It comes with a padded soft bag, which juuuuuuust fits the kit. But I am using the 546GBK legs with a Benro S8 video head and the combo doesn't fit in the supplied bag. Not a big issue though. Pros: Solid, not too heavy and max height is very good at almost 6 and 1/2 feet. Min height is also good...around 1 feet. The flip locks are well designed to open quickly. Cons: For first time users, the Ground-level spreader will need some time getting used to. My current setup is Canon EOS 1Dx Mark-II, and I use lenses like 200-400mm f4, and even the very heavy cine lenses like Canon 30-300 and Sony FS7 or Canon C300 Mark-II and the tripod feels confident. I am a wildlife filmmaker and use it in a gypsy chasing tigers and I only need to put my foot on the ground level spreader to keep it from falling. Included head 502 is good enough for general use and I use it with the tripod to mount my Varavon S1200 slider on it. It can hold much more weight than this. Its pretty smooth. But I upgraded to Benro S8 head for its mroe advanced Tilt Drag and counter balance system.

No recomiendo comprarlo.
