Works as designed.
My car would crank but not start. Bought and installed this after reading the OBD code and it fired right up. The low rating for the installation is not the part's fault. Mercedes just put it in a very difficult location to access.

Reordered after three years
I ordered this three years ago and reordered a few days ago. Not sure what caused it to fail again. Everything I keep seeing is cam position sensors are supposed to be long lasting. Back on the road again.

Fixed my 2000 E320 Mercedes Wagon
Car would not start when driven, unless the car cooled down for about an hour or so. This was happening each time we drove the car for about a week. After changing the Crank Position Sensor it starts every time now. Note: The check engine light wasn't coming on and there was no code.
