I ordered this case because it was the color I wanted and the Defender case. Everybody else was sold out in the color. I've used Otterbox for as long as I've had a smartphone and it protected my phone the entire time, no matter how often I dropped it. So I trust this brand completely. I now got a new phone and wanted to get a case on it right away. But when I opened the package it came in a zip top type bag, not an Otterbox case. The material - plastic shell and rubber outer case - also feels different. I'll put it on my new phone for now, but only until I can get a true Otterbox case. I should have read the description closer.UPDATE 5/29/20: Even though this is not an Otterbox it's very much comparable to the brand-name item. I've dropped the phone countless times over the last 9 months. Sometimes the phone even went flying off the table (running dogs getting caught on the charging cable, grrr!) but this case has protected my phone perfectly. I combined this case with a screen shield, since it doesn't come with a screen protector, and the shield has actually cracked at one of the corners during a drop. My phone's touchscreen, however, stayed completely intact.I'm very impressed with this case and upped the 1-star rating to 5, because it has delivered absolute protection over and over. I just ordered 2 more (to keep a spare on hand), because today the belt clip broke off - but it's a weak point which has been with Otterbox also. (I went through 6 or 7 outer hard-shells with the brand-name, because either the clips or the corners broke off.) If I don't have the phone lying on a desk or table I have it clipped to my hip, with a purse getting caught on it, sometimes running with the phone bouncing around or bumping into something or just generally "abusing" the thing.The price is a third or quarter what an Otterbox would cost, but the protection level is the same. Great buy after all!

This this looks and feels as sturdy as an otterbox defender series. only snag is it doesn't agree with my screen protector that I had previously installed practically perfectly centered. I ordered the real otter box defender case and a new screen protector anyways. It's still a good case if you wanna play around with a screen cover to fit right but I'm not giving that kind of patience. Only other snag I found was the belt holster wasn't as snug holding the phone as I wanted. But I fixed that by applying some heat to the hook that hold the whole in holster and carefully bent it inwards and now its snugUPDATE: upon the delivery of the otterbox case, I had the same issue with the tempered glass screen protector. So what I did was I took a razor blade and carefully shaved the inside of the case that surrounds the phone screen. (Phone was not in the case of course) and that did the trick. I did it with this case as well and it had the same results. And in comparison this case was a little harder to disassemble. but I take that as a good thing. Inside and out the cases are identical in material and looks minus the otter box having it's big fancy name on it. So if you're interested, just get this case and save yourself that money.

I was hesitant to buy this case because I have been using Otterbox Commuter for years, but I am pleasantly surprised. This case is well made, and it fits great. The rubber is harder and slicker than the Otterbox, but I have not had a problem with dropping it. My only complaint is that the locking clip for the belt clip is off center, so the phone can only go in one way. Whereas; the locking clip is centered on the Otterbox, so you can put your phone in either way. Bottom line is that this is a really good case for the price, and I'm not disappointed.

Surprised how well made for the price. Plug covers flip open for access to them. Sturdy, well made. I was really surprised of the quality. Don't care for the hot pink inside cover but not much shows. I have dropped a couple times, once on concrete and it didn't cause any damage. Cover protects the phone. I do like the burgundy outside cover and it covers most of the phone. I have never seen a phone cover with flip covers for the plugs. Really liked that. If you don't have nails like me you do have to use something to pry open the covers. The flip covers are easy enough to open that you can use the plug itself to open. I definitely recommend this product.

I ordered this case for my mother and upon opening the inner hard case, two of the snaps broke. It certainly doesn't reflect well on the hardiness of the rest of the case if we can't even put the phone in it without breaking the case. Very underwhelmed.

This case is extremely durable. Which is its job. My only complaint is that when you have a screen protector on, if it's not set perfectly, the case will lift it or even crack the screen protector like it did my husband's. We had an extra so it wasn't a big deal. But just a warning.

The price is a fraction of the Otter box, I can let you know in a year how it lasts in comparison. The colors aren't the best, the red is a little pink. The burgundy is purple. It seems sturdy enough.

I might've gotten one from the bad bunch but I expected to be more useful than it is to me. I got a case like this not too long ago for my Z Force 2 (Motorola) and I had no issues. This one, it took me forever to figure out I had to take everything apart, just to get the phone in the case. And I had trouble with that too because it didn't even seem to fit, to the point where my temper glass screen (that I got separate came off. Not only that, but the holder doesn't seem big enough for the cushioned case. I walk a lot a work and it seems every two steps I take, the phone slips out and drops on the floor. I might have to just pay the price and get an otterbox because this is not working for me.

Works perfectly and the grip is fantastic. I ordered it pink and it looks absolutly beautiful. I love the color. The protection is exellent, I have dropped my phone multiple times from as high as 2 meters and neither the case or the phone have taken any damage.The downsides:- It gets dirty very easily and it's impossible to clean.- The plastic interior is extremely fragile and will break when you try to open if you're not extremely careful.
