I use this mount with a GoPro Session camera every morning during a 60-90 minute swim. It is invaluable to seeing what I am doing underwater and in improving everything about my swimming. With a little experimenting I was able to learn how to make it stick consistently underwater, both to the pool lights as well as the smooth, painted walls of the pool.GoPro HERO4 Session 12MP Camera (Black)I have owned a few different models of suction mount and they were all a bit frustrating to use underwater at first because they would come unstuck after a few minutes of sticking them in place. I first figured out that if I applied them to the glass dome over an underwater light, that they would stick much better. I have since learned that if I want the suction mount to stick underwater in other, smooth, painted areas of the pool, I have to press the mount down and then slide it along the wall until it won't slide any more or sliding becomes very difficult. Then I apply the lever to hold the suction. Done like this the mount will usually hold for an hour or more.Overall a great addition for swimmers who want to improve their swimming by recording underwater video of themselves.

I have received it and I love it, so far it works great I put it onthe windscreen of my 650r ninja and my action camera on it and itdidn't fall off or move at all even at speeds of 100 mph. Next I'mtrying the helmet. Very well product!

It's holding up, as well as can be expected, especially in the hell hot heat of Tucson AZ. It's a great little holder, but you clearly can see why it's cheap in cost by how flimsy it is. It hasn't broken so I'm happy there but be delicate... The only real negative per se is that the 'removable' slide base (portion) mount that is right below the GoPro.... yeah. Not so much. Once 'locked' in, she's there for life. I had to use massive pliers and WD-40 to get that bugger back off. I've made do though, she sits on my window with my G/P everyday monitoring my drive. It's also in the middle of my star review because though it's flimsy in one area and stiff in another, I'm just not expecting this to last me a full year. That being said, it is MONKEY BONES cheaper that the original G/P version. Cheers!

Gets the job done!! Safe and secure! I purchased this with the intention of using it on my motorcycle for long exposure shots. For that i needed this mount to be very stable or else i would get a blurred image like i did mounting on to my Helmet. Plus it's hard to not move your head at all when riding a motorcycle.In the photo you can see how clear the image image is, showing how stable this mount is.The suction cup sucked on to my tank pretty well. I stuck it on to our dinner table and pulled it up and it seems it can pull the table up on its own, just i didn't go for it, for i dont want it to rip or break! hahai tried mounting it to a kayak but it didnt work. The surface was just not flat enough. But it works for what i wanted so i'm very happy with it!I have even used this mount as a tripod and it works pretty great!The knobs do have to get twisted pretty tight in order for it to stay completely still, but that's not a problem.I would recommend this item!

The mount itself is good. Provides very strong suction. The only issue I had was that one of the two free plastic connectors (the longer one) that came with my unit is way too loose on the aluminum mount. No matter how much you tighten down the thumb screw, it doesn't stay in position. It just falls over. The shorter connector fits well and can be tightened down with no problem.The mount came with all three suction cups just barely screwed into the nuts on top of the plastic base plate. When you tighten down the nuts, make sure each suction cup is aligned properly as there is hole in the top of each cup that fits into a pin on the underside of each arm of the plastic base.I added the CamKix stainless steel tether lanyard sold here on Amazon as extra security, just in case the suction cups failed while driving.

Five stars for the solid design, but minus one star for minor issues. My main problem is that the articulated pieces seem to only go together in one way. For example, you can't go base -> long arm -> short arm -> mounted object; only base ->short arm -> long arm -> mounted object. No instructions were included, so I had to puzzle it out myself. Not a big deal, but it loses a star because I can see how easy it would be for someone to strip a screw or break something trying to figure it out.I'm actually finding that the three suction cup option was overkill for my application (I did not factor this into my rating). I'm mounting a GoPro Hero 3+ inside a windshield.

Its good for car window. I haven't had as good of results as some of the other people on here saying it stuck to a textured dashboard and whatnot. It has strong suction and works good on my windshield but that's about all I would trust it on. I put it on my motorcycle gas tank because its pretty flat on top. (I seen them with mounts like that on videos so i thought I would try it) It seemed to stay really good and I couldn't pull it off. Luckily it fell off right before I went to ride away. saved me from losing it! Dont understand how it was on good one second and just fell off the next on a flat surface but whatever. Im not going to nock it too much because it was cheap but don't risk your camera on the outside of your car or something with this.

Good suction cup mount, at first I placed it on my bumper, but I believe since my bumper is plastic it didn't hold well. Once I mounted it on my metal fender of my car, it stayed all weekend. I put it on Saturday morning before my drift event, and removed it Monday afternoon once I was back home. I hit speeds nearly 80 mph and didn't fall off or move any! I had several hard hits over the weekend and it still stayed on. Would highly recommend if you don't want to pay for the actual GoPro version.
