Introducing The ARCHON Single Pulley Cable Station, “The at home workout equipment pulleys for lifting.” This cable pulley station is a space saver, mobile, and versatile. With a newly designed durable pulley capable of a 400lb load you can maximize your cable workout while taking it with you to the gym, outdoors (Especially great for functional fitness clubs), or in the comfort of your home. Strap the pulley to a horizontal bar or other fasteners and you are ready to go, “No tools required.” The gourd buckle will allow you to use a variety of your favorite cable attachments…we include a multi-use handle attachment with your order. What sets our system apart from many other manufacturers is the cable being sheathed in rubber allowing for a smooth flow and safety from cuts that result from an open steel cable. Single Pulley Cable Stations are great for Lat Pulls, Triceps Curls, On Back Cable Bicep Curls, Face Pulls, and much more!. Purchase two units and you have a cable crossover station for chest workouts, rear dealt workouts, and row configurations. Purchase with a low pulley bundle and perform curls, rows, and other exercises. A unit with a shorter 55” (Travel) high pulley is also available. Your imagination is your only limitation.

A great practical piece of equipment
I feel this is a great compromise and alternative cable pulley for a home gym. The device is simple and practical, while not degrading the quality of your exercise. I waited until 3 complete sessions were performed before reviewing. The weight range I used were from 35 lbs to 80 lbs. The tensile strength of the webbing used will support most cable pull weight of the average to advance gym rat. The pulley has a smooth action especially when coupled with the coated cable that comes with the device. I am 6’4 and I work off a rack that’s 8 ft tall. I have zero issue with ride distance of the cable in standing or seated position. The weight swing is minimal and the thoughts of clamp failure doesn’t dwell in my head. In conclusion, I was able to achieve basic standing cable functions. No it’s not on the same caliber as a cable machine at a gym. However, at a home gym with a new baby in the house...it works!!!I will update at 90 days

Satisfied
I really love that this works. It’s a lot cheaper than buying the $800 bowflex I was looking at, and it probably is better in the sense that it’s an actual cable system not a system using resistance cables.PROSDoes the job rightNo real “swing” of the plates (was worried about my wall)Easy to set up and useSmooth functionCONSLength of cableAttachment to the barThe only things I would have preferred is that the “attachment” section could have been Velcro or buckle type, so that I don’t have to keep looping the entire cable through the loop whenever I move one of the pulleys down from the bar to do rows. The length of one system is a bit too long when I want to do tricep push downs, but it still works. I kind of wish there is a shorter cable option. I am 100% satisfied though, this beats going to the gym and using the gross mangled tricep ropes there and having to wait for a turn on the cable machines.

Power rack owners
I bought this to do tricep push downs on my power rack. I found the cable to be about two feet to long. As you can see in the photo a second pulley made it work perfect. So I got my pulley out of my Jeep winch kit. You could buy two of these Archon pully cable stations to get a second pulley if you don’t have a strong pulley like for a 9,000 pound winch.

Great addition to my home gym
This is a great addition to my home gym. I was initially going to buy an entire cable system for $600 until I found this online. The movement is very smooth. As you can see I purchased 2 of them that way I can do cable crossovers. The only draw back is that the weight does tend to swing while your are using it. But that just makes you focus on slow controlled movements for. Better results. Most people I saw was attaching the unit to their rack system, but I like putting it in the ceiling better....

Not the best
I just got it, and the delivery was very fast, literally the next day. With regards to the product itself the good things that it is great, takes no room if you have a tower already heavy duty construction and easy to attach. The downside is the straps that come with it. The one that holds the weights is ok if you have one plate but if you put two because it is a strap they start slipping and moving, I have seen other ones with a loading pint and that’s better. The strap you attach to the pulling wheel is not that thick, they say it handles 300 lb I am not sure about that, but I am not going anywhere near that, the strap that you use as an attachment for your hands to perform the exercise is useless, I am lucky that I have a bar to attach, the straps are short and flimsy. The idea is great and the vapor is strong but the straps suck unfortunately 🙁

If you intend to pull in one motion (direction) - that's all you can get
Hardware fixtures are okay (probably adequate if you plan on keeping loads under 100-150#) - don't imagine many people will pull more weight than this with one arm (even both). Several minor (or major issues) to note. The strap holding unit to ceiling or your power rack is little on lite (border line flimsy) side, again if you desire to pull heavy loads. The cable is about a foot too long depending on height of your power rack. I may go to a ceiling arrangement. I would recommend using a second large metal washer or wood block drilled to fit to place under the weight stack holder. Other than these few noticeable issues I would recommend and or buy a second one to facilitate doing low rows as shown in their very nice video. The item is quality made - just not for every ones needs. Without a way to accommodate separate pulleys to provide upper, lower mid chest fly's - unit is basically just a waste of money. You might be better off building your device - probably cheaper too. Nice idea - just doesn't seem to go anywhere..

Works fine, cable too long
The pulley works fine but the cable is too long. I attach the pulley to a horizontal bar that's 83" above the floor but replaced the top with a strap and carabiner so I can detach it easily (this is a much better solution and should be how it is designed). And also replaced the bottom weight holder with a 12" Rogue loading pin. The over length is about the same as if I had used the original Archon design. But still, the length is about 12"-18" too long. Most fitness racks that you would attach to is 84" in height (again, my horizontal bar is at 83" so pretty much a standard rack height). I have to kneel to do my tricep pull downs and have to sit on my butt to do lat pulls. The length of the cable is just too long!

Works very well and holds a good amount of weight.
I’ve attached this to various spots and just love using it. Can do lat pull downs, tricep pressdowns, single and two hand variations and am just getting started. I’ve got a lot of kettlebells- from 25lbs to 145lbs and attached the 71kg bell right away. Works smoothly and no problems. Like all great ideas this one makes me wonder why nobody else thought of it sooner. I also appreciate the canvas push down grip that comes with it. Still, a lat bar is a must to take full advantage.

Great system
Great pulley station. The only negative would be that it's quite expensive considering that the materials probably only cost around 15 dollars.
