Worked Perfectly
Parts fit and now dryer runs through cycle automatically again. I would recommend the kit that also includes the heater, as my heater failed a few days later. It’s cheaper if you get the kit that includes these parts and the heater. No issues for over 6 months now.

Just what I needed...
Clothes weren't getting dry on the Whirlpool dryer. Since I had replaced the heating element some time ago, I knew just what part to get. Luckily, it came as a bundle with the thermostats and other pieces (thanks for listening to the people, vendors!), and pricing was reasonable. Just what I needed to take the guesswork out of things. If you're a "Mr./Ms. Fixit" type like I am, keep a log of the repair and write down the replacement parts used for next time. Save yourself time and trouble!

Works well as substitute
This is not the exact part for Maytag dryer according to manual. It works fine. The oulet temputure when I measure it is wider than the manual calls for but the average is very close to spec
