Better than the original
Our old seat cover was old and cracking. The directions had said to just put the new one over the old, but we removed the old one first. I think it would be difficult to get staples to hold if it was put over the old one. This one was of a much better quality than the original one that came with our wave runner! If we ever need another one, this is the one we will buy!

Fit very well!
Cover worked well and seems to be a good cover. Will see how it holds up. Takes a fair amount of time to put this on and I would highly recommend an air or battery powered staple gun with a that has a tip that drops down below the staple track to help getting into the gap where the staples go. I removed the entire cover and staples and it turned out pretty good. Much easier to stretch tight if the cover is warm and you have two people!

Good size and fit
This was appropriately sized, good soft feel to it. It does take some time, making small adjustments. Came out great. Either let it sit in the sun to warm up and/or use heat gun will help some stretch in it.

Not perfect, but almost.
I have upholstered before but this was harder than I expected. I did not have sunlight available so put it in the dryer first to soften it up. However, it quickly cooled off so that didn't work very well. I had a heck of a time tightening it. I would recommend doing the job outside, in full sunlight, so it stays warm and relatively soft while installing. The materiel is thin, which is better for shaping, but this is, actually, for recovering. I left the old covering on, and duct taped over some holes, as instructed, and every edge of the tape shows through the new covering (why I subtracted a star). There is one small spot on one of the sewn seams that is a little wrinkled - I don't think it's my fault, but I suppose it could be. Other than that, it looks good (magnitudes better than the old rotted one) and the price is reasonable. Thank you for providing this for us do-it-yourselfers. The color in the picture is wrong. The blue is not teal but a royal blue. Not exactly the same as my Waverunner, but close enough. Make sure you use Monel staples.

read what its say not seat just fabric
so I recvied this item. thinking it was seat to my surprise it wasn't it was just seat. cover but it looks great know like the product !
