Great alternative to OEM balljoints
These are adequate replacements for the OEM lower ball joints. The OEM lower ball joints are glued in so it may be necessary to heat them up a bit before pressing them out. The new MOOG joints have raised grooves that bite into the lower control arm, eliminating the need for glue and retained with a clip. The grooves do mate the internal surface a bit but subsequent replacements shouldn’t affect fitment if one needed to replace a MOOG with another MOOG ball joint. Installation was straightforward, if replacing OEM, use some heat to break down the glue used at the factory, otherwise press the old joint out and press the new one in. You may need specialty press adapters to fit on the ears of the lower control arm. Add the included grease zerk and add grease, making sure each zerk faces the front of the vehicle for easier re-greasing when installed. The hardware included lets you install a new castle nut and cotter pin so no need to reuse the old. Overall it’s a great value compared to OEM and I am very happy with the result.

As others have stated, this photo does not match the current product. That's because MOOG redesigned the Dust cover. Look at the Photo I added and here's the description from Moog: On select Moog ball joint applications there is a pre-installed integral dust boot. These ball joints look cosmetically different but maintain the same level of performance you come to expect from Moog Problem Solver. This product feature provides easier installation. Same goes for the K6664 Upper Ball Joint

Fit my 2003 Trailblazer EXT perfectly. Great price. Just be prepared to fill ball joint with grease as it does not have much in it.
