plug and play
I have had this drive for about 2 hours and I am so glad I bought it. I was downloading part of my extensive cd collection onto my computer using the built in drive. It was a slow painstaking process where the drive was repeatedly rejecting the cds. I thought the program I was using (EAC) was to blame until the drive started to make some scary grinding noises. I decided to purchase an external drive and see if that resolved the problems. This drive has not only resolved the problems I was experiencing it is handling the downloads with amazing speed. I don't know how well this drive will hold up but so far I am very happy with it.

If you need it, get it.
I never thought i would need a CD adapted for my macbook. But i did. And this puppy is sleek and reliable. Get it if you deffo need it.

Worked perfectly, I was concerned it wouldn't with Zorin OS, but it plugged in and worked with no issue. Very happy!
