I I'm not a plumber nor do I feel that putting a toilet seat on should be that difficult but I've had to take it off twice and rescrew and tighten. I love the look and I'm sure it's easy to clean if I could keep the seat from moving

I love the marble design, the plastic hinges were also easy to use whereas my old metal hinges rusted.

It's a fairly nice toilet seat. There are some good sized bubbles in the finish. I'm a bit worried these will peel off.

Yes, the black looks pretty, however there are dings all over it, sharp ones from unfinished wood and or paint. Either way it's awful. Also I'm not talking one or two, at least a dozen on the actual seat as well as lid. In short, it feels like little sharp splinters. The hardware on the white version of this seat was a really nice brushed metal, I assumed the black would have it as well but it's SUPER CHEAP looking white plastic. Save yourself a HUGE headache and find another seat elsewhere. This is junk. Unfortunately I installed before noticing all this and threw out the old one, so I'm stuck with this now till I find a better seat. Lesson learned. Really bummed out.UPDATE: I tried keeping this to see if I could get used to the imperfections, however tonight, when I went to sit down and 'meditate' for a bit, I almost went flying as the hinge on the left side literally just broke off (and I'm not a big person either). Right now I have it taped together so there are no injuries before a new seat (different company of course) arrives. The plastic just cracked in two. This is the crappiest workmanship I've seen in a long time. I've had toilet seats that have lasted for years. This one didn't make it past a few months! DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. JUNK! You're welcome

Installing it wasn’t the easiest because you are not screwing from the top you have to do it underneath. Once I got it on, of it the other screws that I didn’t touch was loose and the entire seat slipped off the toilet. I had to take it off and tighten it. After a few days it seems as if that screw is starting to loosen again and you have to take the ENTIRE seat off in order to tighten it. I wish I would have just gotten the more expensive one now.

Love the seat. One caveat - the hinges are thin plastic. If you, like we, have a room mate who is large and doesn't care about things, it will not last. Made it about 3 hours before it was broken. I don't think it would have broken in a normal use environment, but that's not here. We liked it enough to buy another one with metal hinges and trade the hinges (not a straight forward or easy process as they were not the same size) and then reinstall. Looking forward to a long life for it now.

I love the seat and the color matches my floor. Very sturdy but a slight bubble in seat that you can barley see. Here’s the big problem which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The screws used to anchor the seat to the nuts below have NO place to put a screw driver the top of the screw. That means you have to tighten the nut from under the seat. The nut was too big to turn from under the seat so it did not work. We had to use the screws from our old seat or it would not work. A real shame, stupid design.

This product is garbage. The installation is ridiculous and then everytime you sit on the seat it slides sideways.

Cheap surface full of bubbles not at all like the pictures. Received damaged and package opened inside delivery box. Company pays only 20$ for return that cost us 50$!!! Very disappointed because the color was perfect and exactly as shown. If only it had been well made. So this cheap seat cost me more than 60$ and 50$ to return. Do not buy theses seats. You will not get all of your money back. They should not be selling on Amazon or anywhere else.
