TOYS Etc. Made Good On My Purchase
I had initially received a unit that was different than was pictured; that is, it had a male plumbing connector rather than a female. I wanted to attach it directly to a faucet to blow lot a water line. TOYS etc. provided the correct unit at no charge, no questions asked and they did not require me to return the incorrect item. High quality item and high quality seller.

Works okay, but a little pricey
I purchased this item before I fully completed my research into blowing out sprinkler systems. When it arrived I realized that it was made of parts I likely could have purchased from the local hardware store and put together myself for about a quarter of the cost? In other words, the "convenience cost" is quite high if you don't want to spend the time to track down and assemble the parts yourself it's worth it though. The general word is that you need a very large compressor with high air volume (CFM) to blow out sprinklers. Since I have shallow buried water lines and only hose bibs (faucets) with no sprinkler heads I decided to give it a try. I set my compressor for relatively low pressure output (50-60 psi) and ran it until there was very little pressure left in the tank. The little compressor couldn't recover fast enough, so I turned it off and let it recover before trying again. It took 6-8 cycles before only air was coming out of my last hose bib, but I am satisfied that at least 90+% of the water was blown out.

Blow out large home sprinkler system
This worked great for my system. The system has outdoor water faucets that I can hook up the compressor with this. My compressor is a 12 gal 4 hp unit that blew the system out great. Of course I had to allow it to build up press again for several times. This connector that fit my standard hose connector to my compressor made it easy. I am happy I didn't have to find parts to build one. Plus the flexible hose makes it even better.

Great Unit
This is just what we needed to hook our compressor up to out sprinkler system to purge the water from the pipes. Easier than making up a unit on your own.

It was easy to connect to our sprinkler system and worked well
I looked for an adapter to winterize our sprinkler system at all the local stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc.) and had resigned myself to building my own from fittings when I found this. The adapter is simple and cheaper than the number of fittings I would have had to buy. It was easy to connect to our sprinkler system and worked well. I was able to blow out my sprinkler system in about 15 min. This adapter won't work for all sprinkler systems though so I would recommend making sure that your sprinkler system is set up such that you can blow it out from a hose connection.

Solid option
It completed its job. It would be nice if the whole hose didn't have to rotate when connecting it to the hose bib.

Just what I was looking for.
This pays for itself after less than 1 use. Why pay someone to flush your sprinkler system when you can do it yourself? Couldn't find a similar adapter in any local box stores, but haven't been disappointed from this one. 1 end connects to quick-connect hose from your air compressor, the other to your garden-host style valve. If you don't have an air compressor, buying this AND an air compressor will pay for itself have 2 uses. Just make sure to watch some videos on youtube before attempting if you don't know what you're doing.
