Great read
I enjoyed this book very much. I don't have MS, I'm not depressed, and I've never been depressed, yet this book held my attention from beginning to end. It's a great motivational book to get you to start eating right, exercising more, and looking at situations differently. He includes great mini-article type things from experts and I found them to be almost the best parts of the whole book. If you are interested in depression or want to read more in depth about it, there's quite a few pages at the end that includes definitions, warning signs, treatments, etc... that could really help some people out.

Living Well Emotionally:Break Through to a Life of Happiness by Montel Williams
This is a fantastic read. Montel Williams welcomes the reader into his life with MS and an unbelievable optimism to help you tap into your own search for happiness. His writing is so down-to-earth and inspiring. His book opened up a whole new avenue of thinking for me. Once I started it, I didn't want to stop. His honesty and openness make his book one of the best inspirational books I've ever read.A beautiful book.

GOOD IF YOU HAVE MS
Dr's are telling me I have symptoms of MS, and I do. I wanted to get as educated as possible about this disease and who doesn't respect Montel? He has been dealing with MS for many years and has been very vocal about it. Great book.... I am about half way through and enjoying this eye opening book for sure!

Not his best book
As a Christian it was hard for me to read passages from Buddha, the Koran etc. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but I was under the impression Montel was a Christian so needless to say I was a bit disappointed. Here's the truth "ya'll", there is only ONE way to heaven ok, not 500 different paths. Also, honestly he didn't say anything new in this book I haven't read in a dozen other books- see a psychiatrist, take meds if you need to, work out. So yeah it was disappointing to read a whole book and not learn anything. The only part that really grabbed my attention was the very first chapter where he describes his experience of feeling like he was dying and since I could relate to that, that was helpful to me that someone else had experienced that. I did enjoy his other book- Living Well though, that one was more informative.

Good Book
Loved it! Gotta Love Montel's Positive message. Yes, everyone has challenges. It's how you deal with those challenges that count. He has good insights on getting through the hard times in life. However, he is an exceptionally disciplined person, but even if we are not, we can still learn much from this book.

What we have learned from this challenge!
I have always enjoyed listening to and learning from Mr.Williams. I started watching him regularly after Sylvia Browne was on weekly and my respect for him grew. Not only do we share a very difficullt illness but what we uaually can do is keep a positive view of our lives and have no fear.
