Celltei Pak-o-Bird - Gold Color with Stainless Steel mesh - Medium Size

I recently purchased this for my new baby male SI Eclectus for two reasons---to transport him from the breeder's in another city to my home, and to facilitate my little guy going with me on bike rides when it warms up. I got the medium-sized khaki green color with a 13" perch, and stainless steel mesh sides and front. I had it mailed to the breeder's home. He was likewise impressed with the construction and design. He had no problem assembling it. I visited him shortly afterward to see my little baby, and also loved the Pak-o-Bird. I took my little guy out for a car ride for about 30 minutes. He enjoyed the outing, making gentle squawkings throughout. The mesh sides and front allowed for the boy to look out the car window, and to also see me throughout. The breeder has subsequently taken the boy out for further rides, so he should be quite used to it when it comes time (next week, in fact) for me to bring him back home with me. This device is well designed, well put-together, easy to assemble, with great accessories. When I ordered, I received excellent assistance from Celltei's customer service as I tried to decide which size perch to get for the boy. They were very attentive, and thorough. I have only praise for this entire transaction. They sell an excellent product which they stand behind, and are very attentive to their customers. I recommend the excellent product without reservation. I look forward to our bike trips together this summer. Pak-o-Bird should provide a safe, comfortable and sturdy means of conveyance for my Eclectus boy.

Unfortunately I bought several of these bags and have used them only a few times. I have had the same problems that other negative reviews have stated: problems with the snaps not holding, sagging as well as the plastic inside the front panel of the bag and at the bottom of the bag just disintegrated or broke apart. These bags are not worth the money!

We loved how light the bag was for what it offered. This is a fantastic and safe way to travel your pet and take on walks so they can get good sunlight while being secure.

I bought this carrier for my amazon Jimmy. I put it on my back, get on the bike and we go around town. We both love it. I like that you can cover the sides and front for privacy or roll up the covers and let the screen windows show. Sometimes I'll roll down the sides and front so as to not be conspicuous about carrying a bird around (like in a restaurant). It is a very well planned out carrier and made very well. The bowls and perch are easy to put in or take out. The directions say it is best to store it unzipped and flat. I use it so often that it is not practical for me to do so, so I hang it on a hook instead and the bottom corners don't get crushed. I like how you can choose to carry it; by hand strap, shoulder strap or backpack style.

This thing is great. After 30 years, I feel I can safely take my African Grey for walks outside. Even if a big dog jumped me or I fell down, my bird would be protected. It's incredibly well-designed; it assembles easily and its many features really work. It's also exceptionally well built. It might seem a little pricy until you see it in person. This is a quality product that will probably last forever.

I love love love this carrier!!!! The best part is that my bird doesn't hate it.... I was bringing him places in an airline kennel but he hated it..... Now he doesn't mind going places and It is easy to carry on my back..

What a wonderful product. My parrot (an African Grey ) was very comfortable and got used to it right away. Easy to carry, easy to clean and is not heavy at all. I absolutely recommend this product!

Purchased this for my medium size bird which is a umbrella cockatoo. She fits good in it and it also comes with a perch and two food bowls. The straps are easy to adjust when using it as a back pack. If your bird tends to tear things up quickly then this would not work for you. It more for smaller birds and my cockatoo is on the smaller side. I like the comfort of wearing it and also the easy access to get the bird in and out.
