I haven't had pear drops since I was a young child and recently I took a craving for them. But at the age of 56 I find sweets and chocolate don't taste as good as they did as a child, so I wasn't holding much hope that pear drops would taste as good. After searching for ages on amazon, I decided to buy Berrymans sweets as they came in a jar and not a packet like they mostly do now. I'm delighted to find these sweets are delicious. They look much bigger than I remember. Compared to the lid in the photo, they look massive. I like the fact they keep their flavour for a long time as I like to suck my sweets until they're gone. Plus they don't stick together like they used to. I've my jar opened three weeks and they're still lying loose. I'll definitely be buying more of these pear drops and I'll try other varieties in the future.
