Nice touches, great battery, all good so far - update at the bottom
I bought this to replace my Air-Fi AF9 which has started suffering massive battery drain. I generally use bluetooth headsets while cycling so battery life was a big selling point. Now that I have mentioned battery life...... I charged it for the suggested 8 hours then played with the pairing functions, the radio and finally left it paired and playing podcasts and music from an Android phone. Full battery to flat - over 10 hours of constant use. Impressed! I quite like the design of this little chap, it looks well made and very sturdy. Music and volume controls are well laid out and easy to find. The volume ones would annoy me if I needed to use them much though as they are some weird touch sensitive thing as opposed to nice tactile buttons. I haven't used it in anger yet though but seeing as I don't tend to fiddle with the volume when riding I don't think it will be a problem. Sound quality - more than acceptable. No sign of distortion or break up but as yet I haven't explored the maximum reaches of the bluetooth range. I only really intend to ever be a few feet away from the phone I'm paired with and the little Sony appears to be more than happy at 6ft. Built in radio - Nice touch and even seems to have reasonable reception, far better than most I've experienced. The clip on the back seems like it will hold it on my collar without a problem. Initial pairing was a doddle and all of the controls work well with an Android phone. Then I tried to pair a second Android phone and I started to struggle (probably because I was doing it by trial and error rather than looking up the online instructions). Here's where my problem came..... Although it's easy to pair multiple phones, the Sony only seems to want to be able to auto connect to one of them. The second one then seems to be very difficult to reconnect until you discover the hidden feature. Hidden in the settings is the ability to set one phone to act as a media player and the second one to act as the phone. At first I couldn't see the logic behind this but now I can. When cycling I tend to take only a secondary phone with me for emergencies and to use as a media player (my usual phone stays at home diverted to my bike phone). I only take two phones out when I am riding to work. The little Sony will now allow me to pair with my primary phone for calls at the same time as the secondary phone for media. That might not sound like much of a selling point but, I'm grateful I found it. I did notice that while playing music from one Android phone, the little Sony displayed the title of the track playing. It didn't do this from the other phone though but, I'll have a fiddle and see what I can find. In my case it's all kind of irrelevant though seeing as it will be clipped to my collar and out of sight anyway. One last thing, the supplied headphones...... They seem to get a lot of bad press but, personally I quite like them. Very short main cable (why would you want a long one when you are using bluetooth - surely that would defeat the object somewhat) with asymmetric earphone cable lengths so they fit neatly around the back of the neck. I won't be using them on the bike though, just while walking around. NEVER CYCLE WITH EARPHONES IN BOTH EARS!!!!! Oh and one more last thing....... The charger supplied has a European plug which seems to attract a lot of negative comment. Really? Is it that bad? Don't most people have an adapter kicking about already? Come on folks, it's hardly a reason to mark down something that so far is seemingly a great product. And bearing in mind it uses Micro USB, pretty much every other charger will fit it anyway or you can just charge it from your PC/laptop. Update.... Update.... Update.... The weird volume control is almost unworkable one handed while cycling - in fact it is so hit and miss you can't really say that you are controlling the volume. It sort of goes up and down randomly until you stop fiddling with it. Depending on which Android device I connect to, the front display of the MW600 shows artist and song title. A nice touch if you don't know who you are listening to. I've been using it almost constantly for 3 or 4 days now and think it's great.

Best audio decision in my life. ( possibly exaggerating a little)
I was sceptical about these sorts of things, however after having the 5th set of £30 headphones being destroyed by my dogs jumping on me and snapping the cable, I figured I needed to change something. After reading reviews on many of these bluetooth devices, including stand alone devises like this or headphone only versions [such as the Sony HBH-IS800 and many others]I decided on this set based on its reviews on battery life, quality and range. Verdict: It doesn't dissapoint. ---- Range: Incredible, I put my phone down and started walking. After laughing at the idiotic range I had a smile on my face. Outside I got around 15-20m before drop out. Inside I got around 10m before the drop out started HOWEVER I could still hear it up to 15m, but it just droped out every now and then if I moved around too much. Deffinately please with this range, as I would unlikely go this far from my phone anyway, but its to know I can. Unlike the IS800 which many said, the quality depended on which pocket the phone was in. You will have no trouble with this. ---- Battery: Did the 8 hours charge starting charge ( well 16 as I left it overnight ), this was over a week ago, and has only now given me a warning. The battery is better than my phones battery life! Unline the IS800 which many said, the battery would die a little too frequnetly. However i'm sure this is mainly down to the MW800 having a MUCH larger battery inside it. ---- Sound: The sound really is good. I was very surprised with the quality, I have not heard any "hiss" between songs and more over the quality does not drop over distances. If you have a signal, you have the same quality as if you were right beside the unit. The headphones supplied are pretty good, turned up full the bass can become distorted on some songs, however I actually really like the sound quality from these. But it is well balanced and in NO way sounds teeny sounding. ---- Size and build: Unit is tiny, extremely light and the clasp on it is very tough. extremely strong, and i'm sure i'll have no bother attaching it to clothing. The only reason that I liked the Sony IS800, was that the entire unit was inside the headphones themselves. But the trade off in quality just wasn't worth it for me. ---- Functionality: Just brilliant. You can pause, start, skip and change the volume ( at least on my nokia N8 ). The volume is seperate from the phone, and you can't turn the volume completely to mute. But its low enough that its hardly needed. When your done listening to music, simply press "PAUSE" and leave the unit relatively close to the handset, when you are ready to listen again press "PLAY" and it will take off where you last left it. Between these times, the unit is in "stand by " mode, and uses very little battery. Can connect upto 3 seperate devices simultaneously. ( although why you would I don't know ) ---- Connectivity: Barely worth noticing, it took literally seconds. Press the power botton for 5 seconds to start the pairing, search on your phone/unit. Connected. took 10 seconds. Now, whenever I turn on the bluetooth on my phone, it connect automatically. To connect up more than 1 device, simply press the power botton for 5 seconds, and connect up the other 2. When you would like to connect to another device, simply press and hold the "PLAY" botton, and it will come up with a menu of 3 devices ( which nicely show the symbol of the type of device, A 'mobile' icon for a mobile and a 'computer' icon for a computer/ps3 ) using the volume scroller to move between each one, press "PLAY" on the one you would like to connect to and it will automatically connect to that selected device. EASY. ---- Price: At £30, it isn't the cheapest version of bluetooth headphones. But its no where near the most expensive. I choose this based on its reviews (and cost obviously) and i'm sure it performs just as good as those £150 pair of headphones ----Conclusion---- Buy it, you won't regret it.

Good bit of kit! Once you get the hang of it....
I was getting a bit annoyed with having to untangle my headphones everytime I wanted to listen to my iPhone, and they didn't have a mic so if I got a call I would either have to unplug them, or hold the phone up to my mouth to use the mic. So I decided to invest in something better! I have the iPhone 4, and was struggling to find something in my sorta price range that did what I wanted it too. Most of the in ear headphones with microphones seemed to cost more that this product (not sure why, maybe I was just looking in the wrong places!) So I started to look at bluetooth headsets. This one seemed to do what I wanted, and at a good price! The headphones produce a good sound, and thanks to the headphone socket, if you find they don't, or you have already invested in some kick ass expensive ones, you can use your own. The only downside to that is, you then have all that cable to deal with, because your's are probably like a metre long, where as these are only 30cm. The radio feature is nice, since I got my iPhone I havn't bothered to listen to the radio, but i am starting to listen again now I can on the move. The controls all work with my iPhone 4, which I wasn't sure about because there were a few mixed reviews about that, but that could all be down to the last iOS update. The voice control kinda works, you do have to shout a little to be heard, which isn't great in a public place, because you just look like a weirdo shouting "Play music by Red Hot Chili Peppers!!" or "Call Dad Mobile!!" The controls on the device (Nxt song, Prv Song, Pause/Play, Volume, and Answer/Voice Control/Hang up) are easy to use, the volume takes a little bit of practice, you have to stroke it kinda, bit like a ipod scroll wheel, but not as nice. It took me a while to learn how to pair the device with my phone, and occasionally, if I take my phone too far away from the headset, it looses it and I have to pair them again when I next want to use them, but thats my fault really. Another brilliant feature is the fact that you can pair it too more than 1 device at a time, which I have tried and found really useful. I have a bluetooth dongle for my PC, so I tried it with that. On the device you can change where the music is coming from, and the phone calls, so it's easy to listen to the music from your PC, and still be connected to your phone incase it rings! This is so cool, because you can be wondering around the house, listening to your PC, and not have to keep your phone on you. The mic also works with my PC, so I can use it as a headset for gaming, or Skype (if I was into those sorta things, but i'm not...) I made a few calls on it, and I can hear the other person really well, nice and loud, the only slight issue is where you clip the headset on, as if its hidden beneath a jacket, or too far, the mic does struggle to pick up your voice if your not one of those idiots who shouts down the phone in public. All in all, I am really pleased with it for this price, I signed up to Amazon Prime at the same time and got free 1st class delievery, so it turned up pretty quick! Would definatley recommend it to a friend, and would buy it again if it broke (well, maybe not now because it's only 2 weeks old... but in a year I would) 9/10 (Not 10 because I believe perfection is impossible, plus I would rather pay less)

Nice little headset, works well with Nexus 5
This is my first Bluetooth headset, so I've little to compare it to, other than the Nokia WH-701 wired headset I was using with my previous phone. I bought it because my new Nexus 5 didn't have an FM radio and I've not been disappointed. The Good: Sound quality is superb, easily as good as wired. The supplied headphones while lightweight can provide a surprising amount of bass, thanks to their canal-phone earpieces. Every media app I've tried so far responds to the headset controls, most (though not all) send the track name to the display which is handy (see below). It can pick up as many radio stations as any other device with a digital tuner i've tried The battery lasts a long time (I've yet to run it down), It charges from micro USB so it's easy to top off anywhere you can charge most phones. Works with voice dial (with some tweaking, see below) Good range, I can use it anywhere in the house while the phone is plugged into the charger. The Bad: The 'innovative' volume slider is a nuisance, a rocker would be better. You CAN use it, it's just harder than it should be. The volume slider is also used to select between paired devices and the radio, and with more than two devices paired, switching to the radio is also tricky. It comes with a European plug, which is pretty useless in the UK unless you happen to have an adapter, it's only 550ma it would have been better to just include a USB cable. Android apps I've found that work with it: Tunein radio (if you want to stream rather than use the FM) Google Play Music 181.fm (doesn't respond to play/pause key) Rocket player Power amp Winamp (doesn't send track names) Mort Player N7 Player MX Player (Video) Voice dial over Bluetooth in Android 4.4 is hit and miss, but that's not the headset it's to do with the the Google search app, latest (as of Oct 14) seems to work well. *Edit* Bumped to 5 stars, I've had it almost a year now and it's still going strong, no broken clip or flaky wires to the ear-buds. If they brought out a Bluetooth 4 version I might upgrade but other than that I can't really fault it.

Great when it works
When the headset's working, it cannot be faulted! Couple of points to note for others and for Sony if they read their reviews before designing there next gen though... Review based on use with an Iphone 4; There's no lock button on the headset so it's very easy to toggle voice control and call contacts by accident! When Bluetooth is lost or music paused for a period of time, upon restart the music player reverts to ipod, even though it was Spotify being listened to previously. (This may be a phone issue rather than headset though). Extremely irritating as it means you have to restart spotify again, and find the track you were last listening to, it doesn't remain in the 'now playing' tab to just press play to. Volume control should be simpler. Touch slider is great if you're sitting still in your bedroom but not if you're out running when you're most likely to be using the set... Very flimsy clip. Should be stronger as it slips off clothing very easily when using for any kind of performance. (I've reverted to using a lanyard). Recurring connection issues. Sometimes it just seems to not be able to reconnect with the music player on the iphone. Or sometimes it can but when you press play on the headset the music blares out of the phones speaker! Very unusual, like it's only found a one way connection. Usually requires a power off and re-sync with bluetooth. Overall it is a very good headset for a very good price but they are very fiddly and frustrating when the above issues rear their heads. I look forward to a more integrated headset coming out with the iphone which can resolve these issues. I'm sure there's more than a market for it!

Fantastic headset for a Galaxy S3 (Android 4 ICS)
I was a bit dubious about this as the price is pretty low, but I've ended up very pleased. I wanted a bluetooth headset that a) worked with Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich, b) allowed me to use my existing headphone, c) had volume control as well as play/pause and skip track and d) allows me to make calls. I'm pleased to say that this amazingly affordable solution has the lot! I have some Bose mIE2 headphones which I love, but the volume control doesn't work with the Galaxy S3. With this device, I simply plug my Bose headphones in to the socket and away I go (I use a cable wrap to reduce the length of the cable). Pairing up the headset is easy, and once it's done once you don't need to worry about it. The headset has a fairly firm clip that holds it to your clothing, and features a 3 button play/pause, skip forward and skip back button on one side, and on the other is a touch sensitive volume slider. The volume is controlled by the headset itself, so it doesn't affect the phone's volume in any way (which is great). One thing to note is that the volume slider is a bit temperamental, so sometimes you need to rub it a few times in the direction you want the volume to go! The charge is decent - I can get about 1.5 to 2 days' of moderate to heavy listening out of it before it runs out. It's got a micr-usb port in the bottom to re-charge. The front panel (just above the Sony green logo) is a nice blue LCD screen that fades to black when not in use. This screen displays the volume, the track name and other info. The track name feature is a bit temperamental depending on what software you use to play your music - but considering the clip is likely to be on your chest under your chin, it's not like you're going to spend ages staring at it for info anyway. Note for Android 4 ICS users - I recommend using poweramp with this. I tried a few apps, and this had the most reliability with the headset in terms of control. The headset does feature an in-built FM radio, but it's not great. I think it uses your headphone wire as the arial, but mine are shielded so the reception was crap. But if you want FM radio, you can just use an app. No idea what the included headphone earbuds are like, I don't use them. Bluetooth range is of course dependent on what's in the way of the headset and the phone, but I can walk across an open plan office for about 8 meters without any problem. Much further and you start to get pauses as it stutters and buffers the music. Lastly, the headset works great for calls - it has a button at the top (near the headphone socket) which is used to answer or end calls, and the little hole above it is the mic. For the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit, and I'm very pleased.

Nice and flexible bluetooth headset solution
I love this kind of devices, because give the convenience of a wireless headset but the freedom to chose your favourite headphones. Performance wise this is more than OK, good sound quality, I couldn't notice any major difference compared to plugging the headphones directly. The only one is that, like with all bluetooth headsets I've tried, some sound effects (like surround, concert hall...) are not available. The addition of the FM radio is somewhat lost on me, but it doesn't do any particular harm. The oled display is instead quite nice, I really like being able to see the track name when listening to music. Notably this works on Samsung S3 and Note 3, so I'm very pleased with the compatibility. As to the controls, there are pros and cons. Pro is that the two sides can be easily recognized simply handling the device, because it's real buttons on one side and a touch control on the other. The play controls (play/pause/forward/previous) are in relief and well separated, easy to operate. Also, unlike to the similar Samsung headset, they are responsive, going to the next track happens with no delay at all. As to the volume control, I don't know: the idea of a touch control is nice in theory, but it's not very practical. It needs to be operated with great precision to work, and I usually can't simply adjust the volume without watching what I'm doing. I wouldn't detract to much from the product for this reason though. Regarding the phone button, I like that to call the last number I have to double-press it, so avoiding the problem of accidental calls that I had with the Samsung and that was very annoying. However, an accidental single-press is still very annoying because it activates a totally retarded voice dialling feature. The battery life is considerably longer than the Samsung equivalent, easily 4-5 times, which is also reflected in the charging time and in the fact that the headset is a tad heavier. I also like the battery indicator, which I was missing on the Samsung. The build quality is in general quite good and pleasant. The clip is not adequate and I would say that it's the only real downside of the product, it's too small and it does not allow to pin the headset on a coat. It doesn't seem very hard-wearing either. Another notable disadvantage is the lack of voice information. When the Samsung connects, a voice informs you of the established connection, which I find really useful. There is nothing like this on the Sony Ericsson instead.

Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth Handsfree
The MW600 is a very good product, with great sound quality. I've used it everyday for several months now and, overall, I'm very pleased with it. Having tried a couple of other stereo bluetooth products, this is by far the best with much better sound quality (compared to Altec Lansing T515 and Uplay Ipod Bluetooth Dock Receiver). Whilst out cycling I have never experienced any audio drop-outs, buzzing, hissing or the kind of distortion that seems to affect other bluetooth products I've tried. I use this both in its intended purpose as a handsfree, but also plugged into my hi-fi. Indoors the range is pretty good but dependent upon how your home is built the signal will drop out eventually, so don't expect miracles. The next room should be fine and one floor up directly above also seems to be okay for me. With my phone (HTC HD2) the only thing that doesn't quite work properly is the caller display - only the incoming number is displayed, not the name of the contact. This is not Sony Ericsson's fault, it is to do with the different bluetooth profiles my phone supports. All other areas of the display (song title) and buttons work as they should. The only other downside with my phone is that the phone's volume buttons will not affect the volume on the handsfree and when I receive an incoming call my phone rings on the handset as well as the handsfree which isn't exactly discreet. These are minor issues for me and, again, are not the device's fault in any way as far as I can see. I've also used the MW600 briefly with an HTC Desire (running Froyo 2.2) and this works slightly differently to my HD2 in so far as song information is NOT displayed on the handsfree's display, but the hardware keys do control music playback on the on the Desire - the volume buttons on the Desire DO control the volume on the handsfree. Again, the limitations are down to Android and not Sony. I've only used the radio briefly but this worked fine for me. The downsides... For me, the inability to charge and use the MW600 at the same time is annoying, especially if you use it with your hi-fi. Also, for some reason the MW600 often misses the beginning of a song - it seems to cut about a second off the beginning of any sound played on your phone. If you have a short text alert and you're not listening to music at the same time, or the music is between songs, you might miss the alert. Similarly, if you use the MW600 in your car for TomTom, the beginning of each instruction may well be cut off. This problem is also frustrating when the MW600 is connected to a hi-fi because the first few beats of each song are chopped off. Finally, with regard to the design of the device iteslf, the OLED screen is very hard to read in sunlight, and the placement of the buttons aren't ideal. The call button is on the front at the top and is easy to activate unintentionally whilst removing the device from your clothing. The volume bar is opposite the play/pause/skip buttons which can be problematic. The touch sensitive volume bar is frustrating to use - buttons would've been so much better. In spite of some of the shortcomings, I recon it's a four star product simply because of the sound quality.

Molto buono!
Funziona a dovere. Consigliato!

Had one of these for over three years and loved it. It met its demise in the washer however and I had to break down and buy a second... Never sorry. This Bluetooth is perfect for all I use it for! It will even connect to my phone and iPod. Listening to music on the iPod and the phone rings, iPod pauses while you answer the phone and starts up right where you left off after you hang up! Amazing! You are even able to plug in your favorite "high dollar" earbuds but the ones included sound great to me!

Buon rapporto prezzo/prestazioni
