Useful little tool.
While this will never replace a high end electronic testing setup, its useful for quick testing. I use it mostly for checking the value of resistors (I am terrible at reading the color codes), and testing for burned out LEDs. Very handy thing to have in my toolbox.

Excellent Value
For $20, I didn't expect a whole lot. I figured I'd get something that would give me a rough idea about the components I tested. I thought it could possibly tell me if a component worked, and estimate for me what the component's values would be, give or take.I was surprised to find that the tester does a good job of identifying components and measuring the components' values. As far as I can tell, the accuracy is within the tolerances of the components I was testing. For capacitors the readings were usually within 10% of the nominal value. Once it was 15% off. Since this was an electrolytic capacitor, the value might be quite a bit different from the rating. I got readings of ESR, or equivalent series resistance, which can be important to know. I also had readings of Vloss, which I don't understand.I tested a group of resistors ranging from 30 Ohms to 1 M Ohm. All of the values were within 1%, which was the tolerance of the resistors themselves.I tested what I thought was an NPN transistor. The device seemed to get it wrong, showing it as a PNP transistor. However, I had made the mistake. It was a 2N3906, which upon checking turned out to be PNP after all. I didn't have a way to check whether the transistor's beta was accurate, but I am inclined to believe the tester.Measuring a diode gave me its forward voltage drop and its capacitance.I have two issues with this device that cost it a star. The first is relatively minor, but still annoying. The tester has a set of sockets for the devices, with a lever that releases and locks the component. You place the component, then move the lever down to hold it in place. This lever sticks out, and there's no way to put it into a safe position. It's a design flaw that could cause damage.A far more important defect is the complete lack of information on how to use the device. There was no manual and no reference to any online information. I consider this a serious problem. While the device is forgiving about how you try to use it, some directions would have been very helpful. I have deliberately inserted components backwards, and in various sockets, without problem. The device manages to recognize the component. I put the transistor in any which way, and no matter how I did it, I got the same readings.Although I did an online search for this device, I could not find any manual or users guide. So - one star off for that.Still, I can highly recommend this device if you need some way to quickly and relatively accurately measure components.Edit: I have learned that there is indeed a manual that is available online. Do a search for "LCR TC1 manual" to find links. This manual is what was missing, so I've bumped up my rating to 5 stars.

Not a Lab-grade Instrument But Still Useful
This thing is great for the money but lacks over-voltage protection. Just make sure your capacitors are discharged before trying to test them with this. I didn't and fried mine. At this price I will buy another and use more care in the future.

Understand what you're getting
There are countless copies of this exact same tool scattered all over the usual suspects that supply cheap chinese electronics (amazon notwithstanding). This shifts the review from "is this good to get" to "is this a good one of these to get". If you were seriously expecting a lab grade LCR and multi-tool for $20, you're literally insane. If you instead understand exactly what this is and the implications of that, this is a fantastic multi-function tester. The case, battery, and leads are enough to put it head and shoulders above the rest. It's very nice to be able to charge this then take it with me. If the battery ever croaks I'm sure I can find a way to fix it - I expect this to be true for most people. If on the other hand you're a newbie to electronics... this still isn't a bad buy, just understand it may misrepresent or misunderstand some things. It's going to think basically any electronic device that applies resistance is a resistor. Testing an LED? Yep, that's a diode. Testing an incandescent lightbulb? Yep, that's a resistor! You may be surprised to find that it's technically not wrong... but perhaps we more commonly know those as their more specific use cases. Regardless, if you understand this, it's just fantastic. My inner 5-year old self got super excited when I first got this and I tested a random swath of items I'd salvaged from burn out electronics over the years. I was able to quickly identify one item which I thought was a solid state relay was actually a bridge rectifier. Yet another thing I wasn't even sure what it was - I thought it may be a diode turned out to be a fuse. I could have manually figured these things out if I ever bothered but the fact that this automates the process makes it easy enough to bother with. That and of course, new toy so I gotta use it on something lol.

Wanted a first line check for counterfeit detection. This is perfect
We're buying lots of components from brokers these days due to supply chain issues. Rather than have technicians with curve tracers, bridges and DMMs checking components, I can just give this to an inspector and 5 minutes of training. This thing is plug and play. You just put the part in the ZIF socket and let the machine figure out what it is and provide some basic data. It won't rival the big bucks equipment for accuracy, but it can get you in the ballpark. Not so accurate for high voltage or high current devices like audio silicon, but great for stuff less than 10V. Charge voltage for capacitance is apparently <4.2V, but, it could resolve a Zener diode (1N5232B) at 5.63V. Worth the price for the first batch of parts checked. Did not come with instructions, but they are easily googled, and since there is only one button and it is so automatic, not much to learn.

Good value for your money
I really like this it sometimes doesn't give you the right reading but if you check it a few times eventually it does but it's for the for the price it's excellent deal and you just got it calibrated now and then and make sure it's charged read the directions but that's a great little product I like it

Repig display
Fantastisk testare, men den låg inte i en box och det fanns ingen manual. Såg begagnad ut. Repig display.

FANTASTIC FOR THE PRICE !
It arrived within the estimated delivery time. The box was a little beat up but everything inside was in good condition. After immediately charging it's battery up I spent a few hours testing a multitude of various (spare - some new, some used) parts in my spare parts "junk box". It does exactly what the description says it should. Yes, there was no manual. Yes I had to do a little Google work to find one. It's pretty simple and if you know what the parts should do that you are testing... it is very easy to use.Fantastic low cost (cheap) tester for the price. Is it perfect ? No,,, but for the price it's a great deal ! Like any piece of test equipment you use, you need to know what to expect from it.

Works very well.
Easy to use. Doesnt provide info on certain components but all in all a pretty good little unit.

Indispensable bench tool
A quick go no go test tool for everything from transistors to capacitors and coils. Very low value coils and capacitors however not so easily tested.. but by adding a known value component then it is easily found. A must have on the bench.
