EasyGo Product Sunflower Kernels – Sun Flower Chips Wild Bird Food – 50 lb

This is the 11th bag we have ordered. A 50 lb bag lasts just under 2 months and a wide variety of birds love it. I love it too because the grass in the lawn beneath the feeder isn't filled with sunflower seed shells choking out the grass from sunshine. The only issue we have ever had was the previous bag which looked like it was filled with seed from the remaining seed in the bottom of the bin. The seed was covered and clumped with powdered seed, much like baking flower used in cooking. It dirtied and clogged the feeders and caused me to have to wash and dry them between each filling. Wish I had spoken up and requested a return and a fresh bag.All 11 bags we ordered have arrived without issue - meaning the bags were not broken or torn. It is a good product receiving the birds five feather seal of approval.

Packaging is very inadequate, 50lbs of seed in a paper sack put in card board box. Mine arrived in relatively good condition but maybe not so lucky next order. The finches go crazy for it!!!

Birds love it and there is no mess of shells around the feeder.

I have been buying sunflower seed CHIPS from Wildbirds Unlimited for years. I decided to try these due to COVID concerns going to the store. They are a good value, seeds were fresh and clean - but they are whole seeds almost exclusively, not chips. So Finches and other smaller birds grab one, crush it in their beak and drop 1/2 of the seed on the ground. Lots of mess, not very efficient. I thought I was buying chips! It says so right there in the name.

Product arrived one day ahead of schedule via UPS, well-packaged and fresh. The birds love it!

When purchasing, this was the least expensive option for me when buying bulk hulled sunflower seeds. I'm sure others will react the same way when seeing a few reviews about moldy seed, and that could have very well been the case.However, I wanted to just write a recent review (I just opened up my bag) as I wanted to dump it into a bin to just see if I had any problems with the quality of the seed. Seed looked perfectly good and what I was expecting.I would suggest a sturdier box or something, as mine was falling apart a bit upon delivery. The bag was totally untampered and was fine, though.Edit: Ordered twice now and received quality product, ordering a third time today with confidence. I get the 50lb coarse.

I figured would be beat up, but in great shape from Bulgaria, works out cheaper than feed store, will get again, they charge S&H, Amazon free.
