My Weird School #3: Mrs. Roopy Is Loopy!

Ben: I like that Mrs Roopy was trying to be different characters. It was cool.Tom: I didn’t like how she never admitted she wasn’t all the characters.But this book is my favorite (this is our fourth book to read)

My kids loved these books. My sons name is AJ and my daughters name is a daisy lol. Aj is just like AJ in the book so he connected with the book from the first page.My son does not like reading and since we read the first one he got into reading the others by himself and now he is reading without me forcing him to read.Loved these funny ones

I used this book with a student. It was a fun read with plenty of laughs. It is great for engaging reluctant readers. I used work pages by McMarie from Teachers Pay Teachers to add the grammar, writing and comprehension pieces.

Great book but I think its to short. I wish Dan Gutman made a series just like this but at a more higher level of reading.

I ordered the first five books from My Weird School and My Weird School Daze by Dan Gutman after reading the entire Captain Underpants series by Dav Pilkey to my two grandsons, ages 7 and 5. I really did not know if any books could be as fun for them as Captain Underpants, but they both love the Weird School books and find them humorous and entertaining. I enjoy reading these books to them and I know that they will be able to go back and read them on their own at a later date. I highly recommend these books!

My eight year old loves this series. We are trying to entice him into reading more. This series is something that we can discuss, wondering what AJ will do next. I have my son read the title and first page of every chapter and we are working up to having him read more, as I read to him. His reading confidence and skills are definitely improving. The story lines keep his attention. It takes about an hour (for mostly me) to read out loud.

It was an amazingly brilliant book to read with my 7 year old daughter because she laughed her head of (not really) with laughter!!!!!

My son found it very good book. Will order the rest of books soon
