Really happy with my purchase
As a college student, $1k is a pretty big purchase for me but I do not regret buying this bike at all. Living in Austin, which is full of hills having an electric bike is a godsend. The bike is super stylish I get compliments for it all the time. I did change the stock saddle for one more comfortable but other than everything is great.

Good bike with balance and power.
I have been using this ebike to commute 13 miles to work. It works out great! Got many compliments from other coworker. Since I have to put it in the office, I need a foldable ebike which is small enough but powerful enough to get through the distance. The gear ratio to the pedal assist setting in my opinion is balance. The wheel size with the max speed 20 miles per hour works pretty good - not shaky and easy to handle.Delivery: Ok but not great. I wish I could get a notification ahead of time. Since the package showed what is inside the box. It could be a problem of being stolen. I live in an area where lot of people pass by daily so I was little worry. I instructed to deliver to my backyard so nobody would spot it and steal it. Of course when you use UPS, which I hate the most, the delivery guy just put it right in front of my door. Definitely not following the instruction. Also it was delivered little delayed.Battery: Pretty good. I wish qualisport could increase the battery size or an option to upgrade the size. I usually able to get through 13 miles without problems. Keep in mind, when is cold weather/ winter/ windy condition, your battery drain much faster. So far luckily I only had couple times that the battery drained out before I got to the destination.Brake: That is bad. It works but it makes squeaky sound from the beginning. Probably just need some adjustment. But when you spent that much money for a new bike, you expect that shouldn't be a problem.Folding part: I wish there is some kind of mechanism to hold the bike together when you fold and push it. It always separate. Kind of annoying. So I have to tie it up. However, I love you could sit on the seat even when folding.Frame/ Chain: The chain keeps hitting the frame on the back wheel. They should put some frame protector like soft cushion on it. Definitely I would suggest you to buy some protector to put on the back frame to avoid the chips. It could get badly.Motor: Quiet responsive and has enough power to go uphill with pedal assist. I am talking about 60 degrees uphill that I had to do daily.Tire size: I think they use a good width to add stability for this size of the bike.Customer service: There isn't any instruction on how to install the bike rack and fenders. I contacted qualisport. Responded fast and very professional. Great people to deal with. Then I had a problem with the battery making those sharp crazy frequency noise that drive people crazy at work. I emailed them and they charged me $15 shipping fee to send me a new one. It seems those batteries are hit and miss. I had a electric scooter. The charger has the same problem but that company just sent me one without any charge since it is still under warranty.Overall: I am pretty satisfied with the purchase. Hope the bike would lasts long. Will provide updates when I hit 1k miles mark.

Great bike if your a smaller person, and there's no hills
It's a quality bike for the price, but I weigh 200 lbs, and its not up to the challenge of my 4 mile commute to work, have a regular bike and was tired of sweating my butt off riding to work, there's 2 pretty good hills .Wished I would have waited for the Dolphin, pretty sure it would fit in my car and have more torque 4 the hills

It is a good bike đźšµ to ride to school, work, pack and in the community
You will feel comfortable riding the bike but for the price, you will hope to get something in the 20s mph. As for the battery I will say that it can last two to three hours riding. I may not be surprise if it go for four hours. They have a great customer service but one thing I hate is that you have to send back their property before they can replace it. It will be nice if the back came with the front and back rear. I love the bike. Hope it last with me for more than two to three years without any problems

Awesome ebike
We bought one bike after reading many reviews on YouTube. After unboxing an already mostly assembled bike, I went for a ride.It was an awesome experience. Topped out at 20. mph. Smooth as silk. It’s very well made. With much attention to detail without going overboard.I bought two more for my wife and son.My wife and I just returned from a ride on the boardwalk in AC.We are totally pleased.Great job.

Qualisports Volador folding ebike is awesome!
I love this Qualisports Volador folding ebike. I bought the bike to take on weekend trips with my wife. We gave up bike riding years ago but with this ebike we can have fun riding again. It’s a blast. We fold up the bikes and put them in the back of the hatchback and drive to where we will ride. Our last little fun trip was to Monterey along the coast trail (which included the FISHERMAN'S WHARF TO LOVERS POINT part) and it was so much fun. Fully paved road and so scenic and so much fun. This bike is great and the wheels do not feel too small. The battery life was fine for our 2-hour plus bike ride. We still had plenty of charge left.(We have rented ebikes before and yes, they were "better", and more powerful, but they were not folding ebikes and they were so much heavier, and cost so much more.)And still this ebike seems heavy for us, even if it’s only 38 pounds. So I am very glad that we did not buy one of the 50-60-pound folding ebikes that the bike enthusiasts recommended higher up on their lists. (But this bike was recommended on their list.) We probably would hardly ever use those heavier ebikes if we have bought them anyway. One issue that is annoying is that when you fold up the ebike and try to wheel it, (like into restaurant so you don’t have to leave it chained up outside at the mercy of the crowd) you hold the seat, which you leave up and long so you can use it as a handle. However shortly after starting to wheel the bike to your dismay, the front wheels want to separate from each other. So, you end up having to sort of hold the bike with two hands. You hold the seat and push the bike while you crouch over the bike and with the other hand you try to reach and hold the front wheels together as the bike rolls. Awkward.Anyway, I totally recommend this bike. At this time the headline grabbing lighter ebikes are not in stores yet. They are just being funded and developed. And it appears that these new lighter folding ebikes only will have one gear and small wheels, 16” or 14”. So, they will not be the same as this ebike anyway. But this is an exciting time in the ebike industry. So, stay tuned as new products are being dreamed up, funded and developed all the time.Maybe someone will get everything right one day at an affordable price. (Stark Drive is trying to make the most affordable electric bike in the world. Go Stark Drive!) Until then, this is an awesome ebike. After many hours of exhausting research this was the lightest 20” ebike that I could find, the quality is solid, the company has lots of experience building ebikes, they actually have an authorized dealer in Berkeley Ca, and the price was right!I totaly enjoy ridding this ebike with my wife and I fully recommend it!
