Outstanding pants. I wore them two days this weekend in the woods. I really put them through some paces. They are comfortable, cool, stretch in all the right places, have well-thought-out pocket placement, and took a fair amount of abuse for a first outing. I wear 30W32L Levi's Blue Jeans and those are a tiny bit long because I wear boots. I ordered the same size for these pants and unless they shrink when i wash them, 30W30L would have been spot on. If these hold up over the summer, I'll definitely order another pair in the fall and I'll order 30W30L this time. If they start falling apart or anything, I will update this review.My Crye Precision pants came in this weekend so I'll be trying them out next weekend. It will be interesting to see how they compare.

I bought a pair of these in Poland a year back. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I found them on amazon and was very excited to have another pair. These go for 160 ( 601 PLN ) . The zipper broken on my first pair after 2 years and I haven't got it stitch fixed yet. This multi color pair is awesome looking. I will buy a few more pairs. Worried about the zipper but everything fails after enough time. The only thing I don't like with this version is the velcrow on the back of the legs. They will probably collect sticker seeds in the fall here in Jefferson State.

I was looking for a new pair of canvas pants for hunting. When you think canvas, you think of "thick", "heavy" and "warm". This is none of the above. The material used in these pants while maybe fitting someone's definition of canvas is not what hunters think about when it comes canvas brush pants. The material is thin and flimsy feeling and will likely be much less warm when I get out into the forest for hunting season this year. I better make sure I have good thermals.If there's anything good to say about these pants is that they do feel comfortable and fit well at the waste due to their design.

Absolutely amazing pants. I would favorably compare to Fjallraven, Arkteryx, Patagonia etc but at much more reasonable price. Fit, stitching and overall construction are top-notch and they seem to be "wearing" very well; durable. I have put one coat of OtterWax on the canvas sections and the fabric took the wax well, barely noticeable. I actually like a "weathered" waxed-canvas look (and want to maximize waterproof) so am going to apply at least one more coat of wax, if not 2. Anyhow, these are absolutely superb trousers. Quite breathable and stretchy, very comfortable and maneuverable. I would say the fabric is a tad bit on the "noisey" side for hunting or tactical needs, perhaps; but I have simply loved the heck out of these pants on a couple "cool temp" camping trips so far, many hikes and daily wear. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

HAD TO RETUN THEM ALL---CUT TOO SLIM IN THE SEAT FOR ME---MADE FOR A SLIM PERSON WHO NEVER WORKED OUT AND PUT ON MUSCLE---

Well constructed, good features. A bit pricy, but they are what I consider a specialty item.I'm 6', 165 lbs, on the thin side and these fit me very well (32x36) except the length was to long for me. I purchased other Helikon pants in the same length and they fit perfectly. I like that Helikon pants are not long in the crotch. Some manufacturers think long inseams need long crotch lengths...no so. The elastic waist section across the rear of the pants allows for a some range in the waist size. I'm not a fan of elastic in the waistband, but on these, I liked this feature. The material is lighter weight than I expected, but I think that's a positive. Thermals underneath in the winter would make these 4-season pants (in the South).

I used the "Helikon-Tex OTP Outdoor Tactical Pants" of which I have two, 40 and 38 size, to order these pants from of which I bought a 38. It feels equal to or slightly bigger than the 40 ( I had expected it to feel tighter than the other 38 due to less stretch in the fabric)I guess I'd also say that I was expecting the materials to be heavier than they are. On that score, it will take some wearing to decide if what I got was better than what I imagined.Ohher than that, no complaints and my impression is theyu wear well in the field

These pants performed better than expected. I wore them hunting my first time putting them on. As I walked through the wet brush the water just ran off the pants and thorns and briars didn’t even get close to penetrating the fabric. The zippered pockets and Velcro pouches were great for storage and handheld radios. The Velcro at the bottom of the leg was great at preventing anything from getting inside your boots or shoes. The pants run slightly longer on the inseam than advertised, which worked out for me since I received a size smaller than what I ordered.The service from the company was phenomenal! The original order said it would take a month for delivery and I canceled my order because I needed something sooner for my hunting trip. They quickly emailed me and said they would express ship them so I could have them in time. Great customer service and very quick with their responses. Extremely happy all the way around!

Helikon have excelled, the trousers are totally functional and unrestrictive. If you’re walking running or climbing, these are the best.I bought trousers at three times the price and they don’t match these, I’m pressed and very happy with my purchase.Only one tiny complaint, they aren’t supplied with knee pads. But please don’t let that put you off, they are well worth the money

Another outstanding product from Helikon. It’s nice to see that someone on the shop floor has had input in making these Trousers. If they made them in Cam Grom I’d definitely order a set.

These trousers are very comfy, I ended up buying the additional knee foam inserts for comfort. They are light with some good stretch in them. They have belt loops but I tend to use braces for comfort.

The different man made materials of this garment mean..after a couple of washes they look like a badly made pair of trousers. They are not worth the money

Light, comfortable and durable but now pricey with the exchange rate.
