Inaccurate description
Where do I start? The pins were bent over from poor packaging and wouldn't stand back up. Picture of brush inaccurate, making it look smaller than it is, only measurement given was length. Had the width measurement been given I would of known it was much too large for my use. Another measurement down in description said: 1 x 1 x 1 inch and I needed brush for paw care so I truly thought this was a small brush. Will be returning.

Works great
I have a couple of safari brushes that are smaller than this one. Been using them on my cats for many years. Didn't realize until I received this on that it was larger than the old ones I have. Larger makes it even better. My cats LOVE to get brushed. A big part of the comfort for cats and dogs is that these brushes have tips on them that don't annoy or irritate their skin.I definitely recommend this brush!

FOR CATS, FOLKS!
Perfect CAT BRUSH: this is NOT a dog brush, the bristles are finer and they’re flexible, making it quite comfy for my cats. Thus the reason for bad previous reviews. I had one of these for my cats & bought 3 more. Works great on ALL coats. Don’t know why it’s marketed as a dog brush.

Even Better Than Expected!
We had already tried several different brushes on our Rough Collie. Purchasing this brush ended our search for the right solution. The amount of hair, and especially undercoat, which was easily brushed out was amazing. Quality construction and easy to clean.

Not good for thick hair
It's a "ok" brush but doesn't provide a sturdy brush for thick hair. My pup is part poodle and the bristles are too soft to come through hair.

A great dog brush
A great pet brush, easy to grip and clean. Works wonderfully for my little long haired Chihuahua. My daughter liked it so much, I ordered one for her little French Bulldog.

didn't do what I wanted
I bought this brush to use on sensitive skinned long haired or thick coated dogs but it was too soft to do the job of thoroughly brushing their coats. I tried it on a short coated dog which acted as if the brush didn't feel good, even with a light touch.I would not buy a brush like this again, although I really do like the majority of Safari products.

Love this brush, better than a slicker
I got this as a back up brush to the slicker I purchased... and we like this brush better. It doesn't pull like the slicker does, and my goldendoodle doesn't mind being groomed with this one. Unfortunately we have misplaced it this week and if I dont find it soon I will have to order a new one! A must have!
