Quality, value and excellent customer service
Great customer service and tie gun works well. I had a similar issue as others have mentioned about the motherboard being bad. They overnighted one to me and had me up and running in no time. I just ordered 3 more for a job next week.

it does not work
dont buy this item.. it does not work,, out of 10 ties it does 3 good ones and it does not tight strong enough,, and if you increase tension it just breaks the wire,,, and yes i tried everything to adjust it,, still very annoying to use,, jams all the time,,,not a quality product

Very low grade
The battery will last about 10 minutes tops and the tension button does not work to make it tie tighter. It will not tie tight enough to hold rebar together. I do not recommend at all.

Unbelievable Customer Service!
I have a large rebar job to tie, and I'm working mostly alone, so I bought this gun to try it out. The price was right, and this was one of the only items that would deliver to my location in Puerto Rico.The gun was super-easy to load, and worked right out of the box. It's a neat piece of technology and I used it for part of a day, just getting the hang of the correct angle to ensure a clean tie and playing with the tension to see what worked best. This thing is definitely a time saver when doing production work.Next day I slapped the battery into it and went to work and...nothing but a long beep. Came to find out the motherboard was faulty.But this is the good part: I emailed Newtry's customer service, got a diagnostic reply in a reasonable time, we determined what the problem was, and not only did they refund me, they quickly sent me a new motherboard, called me to verify my address (again, puerto rico) and offered to take a video to show how the motherboard replacement is done. Amazing service, I'm very satisfied and happy that this worked out.Thanks NEWTRY!

Not good for 5/8 at a cross cross. instructions don’t even tell you what it’s for
Light duty. Loose battery. Too small for 5/8 at a cross cross

Maybe 50 ties
This is an inexpensive tool, I knew that going in. Was hoping for it to last for at least1 job. Stopped working after about 50 ties. Spit out the wire fine.Did not work for me!

Cheap time saver!!!!!!!!!
Done a 60x60 1/2 bar 18 on center. Done great!!!!!! Charged battery once over night, but wasn’t dead. Jammed on me once and had to take apart. Wasn’t hard or time consuming. Even with that it jamming once saved me tones of time and back aches. Before using understand how it works so you know it’s you messing up or the gun.

Waste of everrything
Ive used the original tie guns by Maxx and Makita and thought maybe someone knocked one off at a fair price.... well, rhey did, but did about the cheapest and worst job they couldve done. Waste of time making, shipping, buying and returning this junk. Waste of space on any shelf of a delivery truck. Waste of plastic and metal making this crap.. just a waste, dont waste your time like i did buying this then weiti g this review. 😉
