We had 2 kids who were still having accidents at the ages of 8 and 9, so we bought this device and one other bed-wetting alarm. A few notes before my review: - This is tough to use with a pull-up or training pant. We tried it a few times, but you literally have to cut a hole in the pullup to put the sensor in a spot that will work. - The option for the longer cord or the shorter one is nice, but we have had an incident where the alarm went off but my kid didn't wake up because she was smothering the alarm. If the alarm is covered, the sound is deadened in a major way. I recommend a high mount on the collar, closer to the ear. - We haven't had any issues with the cord coming out like others have reported. If you put it in correctly, it will probably work. Overall, we love the device. The collar clip isn't as good as the other one we bought, but it hasn't fallen off. We've gone almost a full week without charging it any haven't had any issues, so battery life is solid. The clip for the sensor can be a little hard to get on some types of material, but once you get the hang of it, it holds just fine. It is very light weight and small, and it hasn't bothered my kid at all. And she's a very active sleeper, and we haven't had a problem with either the sensor or the unit falling off, or the cord getting tangled. I will say that wicking-style athletic underwear doesn't work great with it. We have only had 2 accidents and they were early on. One time the alarm woke her, one time it didn't. What's odd is, a kid that used to have accidents several times a week is now simply not having them. We undergo a bit of a ritual where we take a potty break, then test the alarm, then put it on. I wonder if just the extra awareness is somehow making the accidents less likely. She is able to put the alarm on by herself at this point, after a few nights of assistance. Either way, it's working. The improvement to our lives is worth far more than what we paid for this device. I also want to take a second to address the seller specifically. After a week or so, one of my kids turned off his thinking brain and broke the clip on the back of the device. It wasn't a design issue, it was operator error all the way. I contacted the seller and explained what had happened, and that it was our fault. We were asking how we could buy a replacement clip. The seller's response was prompt and his solution was to send us a whole new unit. That was unexpected, and certainly not necessary, but was greatly appreciated and allowed us to not get out of our new routine for very long. If you have an older kid who is still having accidents and you are thinking about a bed-wetting alarm, I highly recommend this device, and this seller.

Let me preface by saying I used two different alarms with my oldest. They were both great. This time I decided to use a different brand. I clearly received a used product as there was much on the alarm. I cleaned it and figured I’d try to use it anyway. Basically impossible to figure out how based on the “instruction” manual, if you can call it that. It’s 4 pages of warnings and 4 pages of “how to potty train your kid.” No instructions on how to use the damn thing. When I press the power button nothing happens. When I hold the power button it starts into the modes. Ok. I pick the song, the volume, and the vibration. Now what? It keeps beeping until I hold the power button again. Then the damn thing turns off completely and gets a red light. It’s fully charged, been charging for 4 hours now. I think anyway, I tried two different outlets and no charge indicator lights came on. I tried swapping out the little clips, tried both of them, tried pressing the power button while clipping a wet paper towel....nothing. Completely worthless. I don’t know if I’m just unable to figure it out or if I got a defective one? Since there’s no instructions I don’t know what to think. So I’m exchanging it for a (hopefully) new one and I’ll update the review when I receive it.

We were making good progress, then one night the alarm wouldn't turn off. We let it run out and charged it again, and now it won't turn back on. Totally bricked.

I've waited to write a review on this because I wasn't sure if it was coincidence or it was actually working. Our son is 8 years old and Autistic (High Functioning). We had him in pullups because he would not hold his pee or get up to go. We thought it may have been due to ASD, then maybe because he was being lazy. We tried setting alarms for him to get up and go in the night but he would pee at 11, go to sleep and wet the bed at 1140. He goes to bed an hour after his last sip of drink and goes pee before he goes to bed. After he said he does not want to wear the pullups anymore, we looked for a sensor device to wake him if he has an accident. I read reviews on alot of these and decided on the rechargeable one that is fairly inexpensive. My son's arms are so tiny, the strap was kinda loose at first but we rearranged it to fit a little tighter (double wrapped around the device). He never complained about the wire or the strap which was surprising for him! We read a suggestion to put underwear on, clip the sensor to the underwear, and then put the pullup over all of it. Therefore, if (and when) there is an accident, it will not require you to change sheets or clothes, just the underwear and diaper. The first night, he did not pee at all. He was definitely aware of it and I think knowing what it was for helped alot. Since we bought this, he has had only 4 accidents. When the alarm goes off, he wakes up and it is loud enough to wake us up in the next room. Now, he is out of pullups and continues to wear the sensor until he chooses to take it off. I'm not sure why we are so surprised at his progress because he does amazing things all the time, but I truly think this device was the direct cause of his success!

So my son has continued bedtime issues. Doctor recommended buying a moisture sensor to try and track down when he’s going to the bathroom at night. Bought him some pull ups and this to start! Being a typical man, I didn’t read directions and could not for the life of me, figure out why the thing continuously dings when it was in the unclamped position. Turns out you need to clamp it to something and it will be quiet until moisture is detected! It comes with two different sized cords one that you can run underneath a shirt and have sit at the neck or one that’s smaller that will fit on the pull up or underwear. My son has used both and the only complaint he has had is the one that sits on the pull up purchase side as he has a side sleeper so you can easily adjust that if needed. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the bedtime issues have not been a problem and we never really did see if the thing truly worked. We did test it out a few times with just water, and it got it to go off. I cannot give a for sure answer where the thing needs to be exactly placed based off bed time issues, but we placed it as close as we could without it being agitating to the area.

Many of these reviews are fake. I would return this alarm if it had free returns. It is not easy to use. There is no clear on/off switch. The on/off is the same button that’s used for selecting vibration/music/both. I can’t even figure out a way to tell if it’s on or off without having to hear the dang alarm (which stinks when my kid is already asleep). The button is placed so that you bump it constantly and have to suffer through Für Elise or Swan Lake. There is no option for a non-song alarm. Lastly, the reward stickers are insensitive and humiliating. Stickers of a baby in diapers!!! How insulting! And if they pee the bed, they’re supposed to use a sticker of a crying baby in a diaper. WTH?! They obviously have little compassion or understanding for their target demographic and for the shame older bedwetters feel. The manual that comes with it is incomplete and in broken English.

I've waited writing something on this because to be completely honest I'm still shocked and confused. Our son turned 7 in March and has been day trained since he was 22 months old. We have tried every single thing in the world for night training and this poor kid wets every...single..night. Not every once in a while but every night. It was getting to the point where we took him to the doctor to see if he had a medical problem. I purchased this as a last resort before his doctor stepped in. I knew it wouldn't work because its "just an alarm"..but I had to try. Well...all I can say is this little alarm is magic. He wore it constantly for probably 6 weeks with accidents. We almost gave up and I remembered someone saying it can take up to 12 weeks to train the brain so we kept on. All of a sudden just like that...he stopped wetting at night. What?! For real this thing is unreal. I've tried to explain it to everyone I know that has kids. If you have that one sweet kid who is struggling this is it. I have no idea how or why it works but it does. His pediatrician was so shocked she even wrote down the name of it. He is on about month 4 now with no accidents. Highly recommend!

Worked ONLY 1 night (well kinda)! My son age 5 was so excited for this to come and hopeful this would be a product that would work! While the alarm did go off when he peed, it was too late after he was wet. Not at the beginning like it was supposed to do. I know this because we had the alarm set loud to music to wake us up too so we knew he was getting up. Along with the fact the alarm didn't just wake him to pee it would keep going off and not shut off...so he had to have us turn it off for him throughout the night. I didn't know that was going to happen. ( Don't like that! ) Don't know if that's normal or a glitch. Either way was going to just go with it...until the second night my husband was trying to set it....and it wouldn't even with set.....or program vibrate or music 🎼. Just keeps flashing red lights...has been charging for days now and turns blue only for an hour or so then turns red again. Will be returning the item.

Me gustó mucho esta alarma, el problema es que ya no cargo y tuve que devolver.

Buen dispositivo pero. Muy. Muy mala calidad del clip. Ya que se rompieron casi al instante. Por consecuencia. Ya no me sirvió por falta del clip
