Bought these to upgrade to a raised bed garden. I can’t say whether or not they hold up to time, but they were easy to put together and came with all the needed parts. The metal is relatively thin, but it has held up to filling thus far. I also love that they’re big beds with a lot of room for planting. Excited to plant in these for the year!

Quality planter that is easy to assemble, and easy to move around (especially with an extra set of hands). I like how they look, hard to argue that industrial shiny feel inside the garden with beautiful plants growing with the added protection of being off the ground. I have become an experienced horticulturalist over the years, and these are great for a wide variety of applications. You can really grow some massive plants (I own more than 3, multiple sizes).

This raised bed is very affordable. I was initally thinking of making a wooden raised bed from scratch but after calculating the cost, I figured that it would be better just getting this galvanized one. It costs around the same price as making one from scratch and it include all the needed parts. Moreover, this should last longer than a wooden raised bed. It is made from galvanized metal and so it is unlikely to rust for a very long time. The raised bed is very easy to assemble. It is just as easy as take a screw driver and screwing on 48 nut and bolts (provided in the package). The set up is very straightforward and intuitive. The actual set up itself can be done in 15 to 20 mins... mostly because there are so many nuts and bolts. But it is very straight forward. Just screw the bolts onto the pre-drilled holes on the raised bed panels. However (and this is my only criticism), the raised bed has a very thin plastic film on all 6 metal panels. This plastic is very hard to remove. (And I recommend peeling this off before setting up the raised bed). It takes 10 minutes to remove the plastic film from each panel. 6 panels means that it takes an hour to remove it. So it will take some time to prep the bed before setting it up. But after this is done, the actual set up is a breeze and very straightforward. The bed looks thin and flimsy at first, but once it is set up, it is very sturdy even though very light to carry around empty. I also appreciate that this is a foot tall and not too shallow like some other raised beds being sold. Now, I see some other people complaining about this not being 8 feet by 4 feet. I measured it, and it is 8 x 4. I do not know why they complained that this is smaller than 8 x 4. Perhaps they were sent a different bed or an older one, but it measured up to size with the one I was sent. This is an excellent product and I would recommend it highly for what you are paying for.

Over all, a great value for what they are. I purchased three of these three years ago, and we moved houses with them once. I will say, they’ve started to rust on the inside and are losing shape a little. But for me, I needed something to figure out garden placement and that would be easy to pick up and move. Now that we’re in our forever home, we will start replacing them with cedar beds next year. I do like these enough where I purchased six more this year, but just know they do have a lifespan of around 3-4 years before they should be replaced with something more permanent. Pros: super easy to assemble. Lightweight and easy to move. Value for money. Sturdy enough, but definitely won’t hold up over several years. Cons: insides start to rust after two-three years. A bit flimsy and loose shape. Dent/bend easily if you run a wheel borrow into them or lean on them. Over all, I do like them. It’s worth it if you need a temporary solution that will last a few years before you can get permanent, cedar boxes.

First summer of gardening complete and I’m very happy with this garden bed. Was sturdy, and just the right height. Very easy to assemble by myself. Held up nicely to the landscaping people going around it with a weed eater.

Ok made in china just like everything we buy. So, on this the directions not the best, but worked out. I think for the money great purchase. We bought 2, then bought 2 more for next year. Once one put together others a breeze. First one about 1 hour to put together for 1 person. But me and my husband did the others in about 30 minutes each. Yes sharp edges, but use your head!!! It is metal after all. Lots of screws, but glad so secure. Not everything is easy in life. Sometime have have to actually work. The units are very flexible, but once dirt in them they will be very sturdy. It is the larger unit at 8x4x1. The unit is about 2 inches off on length and width no matter how you measure a little short, but close. Height perfect. Not a big deal for me. Might buy a few more. Just be prepared that you have a lot of screws, pieces are sharp. We love them so far. I did paint mine a green to tone down the galvanized.
