Perfect fit, and works well
This sunscreen is exactly what I needed to keep my dark blue 2015 Ram 1500 truck much cooler inside. It could use some way to hold the upper corners in place, but if the visors are turned down the sunshade is held pretty well, and covers 90% of the windshield reducing the inner temp by at least 50%. I think it could be better with 2 little suction cups in the unsupported upper corners, but can probably attach them myself with little effort. It also takes very little effort to remove the shade for storage as all that is needed is to twist each circle into a figure 8, and when done it is so small it easily fits between my center console and passenger seat.

Blocks The Rays
I bought two of these sunshades and they both fit perfectly in my wife's 2009 Toyota Corolla and my 2005 Ford Escape. We watched instructional videos on how to fold them back up and still don't have the hang of it entirely and it might take a couple of tries twisting and turning this thing until it wraps itself up six times or so, but once it does it's very compact and convenient so it's worth it. It comes with an attached strap to secure it together and a storage case if it's going to be put away for a while. Blocks the sun's damaging rays and heat coming through the windshield. Would recommend this product.

Sun blocker
The product is a little on the flimsy side but when it holds properly it does block out all the light that comes into your car's windshield. The problem is that the product has to fit so many windshields and it is one size fits all for its particular category of size, such as large or jumbo. The corner attachments are flimsy and do not always hold it up in the window properly, but when it does hold, it works well. Overall for the money it is a decent deal. With a little bit more work this product could be awesome.

Good Idea...BUT.
Disappointing as well as some others have said. Was looking for something other than the standard accordion types that has been around for so many years. I didn't notice that these too were using the sun visors as a holder...until I got it. Was too hot when I received it yesterday to see if it would block the heat (as others said it didn't do well). After it cooled down out side, I tried to see what the problem was, 1st, it is too short; apparently my 2014 Honda Civic is longer than 32". 2nd, I cannot use my visors as holders because I use a "blind spot" mirror that extends wider that the standard one. I did, after the cool down use the unwired flaps to tuck into the top of of the area between the the upper windshield. (that's why I'm giving it a 2 vs. a 1.If it doesn't hold the heat out and/or fold as compactly as described, I'll be sending it back.

One would think that these types of things would be ...
One would think that these types of things would be self-explanatory, but alas, I've never had a need for one so I've never used one. There are no instructions on how to use it or what the elastic bands are for, etc. There is literature asking you to go on and rate them high.... so I know they *do* have a working printer...Back in the reviews is where I found out how to wedge these between the sunshades on the vehicle, the mirror, and allow it to just prop up that way. I did that, and it works -- just OK. It's fallen down a few times and it doesn't really cover all of my dash (which is why I bought one of these since my last dash got a lot of sun damage).Overall, it's just OK... still not sure how to incorporate the elastic bands that are attached to the sides but it seems OK for what I use it for. In retrospect, I should have shopped a bit more for one of these and may have ended up with a different one.

incredibly disappointing
I'm afraid the shade is incredibly disappointing. The dimensions may be technically correct, but several inches of the height are just UNSUPPORTED flaps of nylon cloth, which collapse and fold under when the shade is upright. My windshield is only 54x30", but this shade only barely touches my car's visors, and leaves big openings (see photo). That's because the metal loops that provide all the support are only 26" in diameter, which is far too short... In fact a full 5.5" shorter than the specs claim! If your windshield is more than 26" tall, this probably won't work for you. What's more, there are 27" tall shades all over Amazon for just $5:* niceeshop Car Front Rear Sunshade, Silver Front and Black Rear* Folding 59" x 27" Windshield Sun Shade Black Silver Tone for Car Auto* Brotechno 59-Inch X 27-Inch Folding Windshield Sun Shade for Car, Nylon, Black / SilverAnd here's a full car, 6-window set selling for as little as $8 right now:* Vktech 6Pcs Folding Silvering Reflective Car Window Sun Shade Visor Shield CoverI'm also disappointed by how much heat the shade absorbs and lets through... My car isn't hardly any cooler for using the shade. The fabric is much thinner than I had expected, and not even slightly reflective. Instead just a flat grey, which absorbs lots of light and heat. White would have been better, and mylar or foil much better still. It's also an ordeal routing the shade around my rear-view mirror, which AlphaShades conveniently avoids in all product photos by only using vehicles where the rear-view mirror isn't attached to the windshield! With how nice it looks in photos, I suspect it was glued in place. It's only just slightly better than having nothing at all, and not remotely worth the price. In fact a cheap little $7 snow cover I bought last year is reflective and larger than this, and makes a far better sun-shade than this thing, without actually trying:* Hopkins Subzero 17511 All Season Windshield Screen 70" x 29"But my ultimate solution was to buy a roll of foil-coated bubble insulation, and carefully cut it to fit:* InfraStop 48" X 10' Double Bubble Reflective Foil InsulationIt's reflective, and the air bubbles give it a little structure and insulation (only R-1). It takes a good hour to cut it to fit your windshield, but you can do a seamless job, making it tuck into the edges, fit tightly around the mirror, etc. It seems to tolerate being folded to fit under the passenger seat, but curls and then sags a bit in the heat, so visor positioning is still important. While that roll isn't very cheap, it's enough to do multiple cars, side windows and all.
