Cracked in freezer first use.
I love every Whiskey Made product I’ve purchased; however, these fell a little short. I love the concept and love the look when serving up a whiskey on the rocks. The thing is two of them cracked first time use. Not sure how to fix that issue. I will probably use the other two until they crack just because I love the concept but would be hesitant to recommend them again. Perhaps if the walls were thicker and the cubes larger that might resolve the issue. For now not impressed with THIS particular product from Whiskey Made. Gave it two stars because I liked the concept.

Whiskey right up!
These are the perfect size to fit in your whiskey glass. They are a great accessory to our whiskey collection.

A clever and unique gift for your whiskey or bourbon lover!
A clever and unique gift for your whiskey or bourbon lover! This is one of those gifts you get for the person that has everything and you can’t find anything to get them. If they love whiskey or bourbon this little ice cube is perfect. You fill with water and freeze and they are made from aged bourbon barrels and then you put cubes in the drink and it will complement the flavor of their spirit. It comes in a little burlap bag. I’m taking away a star because I feel the price does not qualify for what you get. Yes it’s clever, but not for this price. Maybe if it were in more of a presentation box I might have a different opinion. But I find that $22 for this little burlap bag of hollowed out wood cubes is a little excessive. That being said if your having a hard time finding a gift for a whiskey or bourbon lover here you go.

no worth it
honestly I see no point on this.add the water, cannot take it out cause the item is made of wood so the water will be frozen in there and the entire wood cube with the water has to go on the cup.is feels very unsanitary to me cause wood is porous and over time bacteria will grow in between the wood cracks.the material is ok but not made for freeing in my opinion, it only took a couple of uses to the thing to crack ....I do not think this is a useful item at all, if anything it is a waste of money in my opinion.

Good Idea, Not Great Execution
I love bourbon, especially on the rocks, so I was looking forward to this unique alternative to ice cubes. The first thing I noticed was how small they were - not the end of the world, but it meant that very little water could be put in each one. They didn’t do a great job cooling my drink and they melted very quickly. I noticed a little of the “char” flavor, I guess, but I was also really paying attention. My biggest criticism, though, is that each one developed a crack after the first freezing (pic attached to this review) and I am almost positive they’ll continue to grow. 2 of the 4 can only hold 1\2 as much water now, which makes them basically worthless in the ice department.2 stars for the interesting idea but, in the end, this is really an example of form over function.

Fun novelty gift for whiskey lovers.
These little blocks are from charred whisky wood--recycled no less! Perfect for the whisky enthusiast. Fill with water and freeze them and drop them in your drink. This adds a mellow flavor to your whiskey and cools it. Probably not for the whiskey purist who buys super limited Pappy Van Winkle and such, but a fun idea and gift for less expensive whiskeys.

Don’t bother!!
This brand in particular in my humble opinion made these bourbon barrels very cheaply. When I went freeze an ice cube within the barrels it cracked in the freezer. Furthermore the charred area of the wood also rubbed off. I would not recommend buying this particular one.

Not important.
These are pretty silly. I tested them out and could taste no difference at all in my bourbon and seltzer. I guess they’re more for showing off and making a complicated process out of something fairly simple.
