The plastic is cheap and it’s not near to bring high qualityHowever for the price it has, it does a great job.I put together easily enough and I am sure coming December it will look great and the Christmas tree.So if you want a unique tree decoration I think it’s a cool one

Easy to unbox and rebox. Bought this to decorate my sister-in-law's boutique, Glitz and Glam, window display. The train set was the right size (30" diameter circle) and went together OK. The tracks are lightweight plastic, so extra care had to be taken to assemble them without breaking. The train cars have thin plastic wheels that sometimes is hard to align on the tracks. The sound that the train makes is louder than what I would wish for and cannot be turned off separately. It doesn't have a Christmas song programmed it, just regular train noise. So, if I could improve it, I'd add a volume control and program some public domain Christmas songs. Overall, a decent buy, but not super great. Worth the time to put it together and a decent value. Will reuse it again next year as a decoration,

This product came with the tracks and four cars as described. It also came with two coupling pieces that you can attach to the trunk of the tree and use the eight prongs that extend out to the tracks. I don't know if this works, because I couldn't get the train to go around the tracks on a hard wood floor. It went around a few times, then started to leave the tracks every couple of times it went around. My grandson grew bored and moved on to his other Christmas toys. I read about the cheap plastic used in other train sets that I didn't buy from the reviews. Well, this train set is mad of cheap plastic. The coupling rod on the engine popped off, fell over and bent. This was after the train wouldn't stay on the track. The Santa car was the worst offender for jumping the rails. After I removed that car it went around 4 or 5 times before falling off. I'm sending it back. It is not an "Impeccable Christmas Train Set" Very cheap.

The idea of a tree train is cool. I set it up and everyone loved it. My low rating is due to the fact that I have a real tree. Took me a while to figure out how to install. Couldn't get it real sturdy, so the train doesnt run well around the tracks. I think this product may be better for artificial trees. Its very hard to get a clear spot to assemble the train track stabilizers with a real tree. I got it as sturdy as as i could but the tracks are lopsided so the train doesnt run around on its own. Additionally, the train pieces are cheap plastic and the train is loud and volume is not adjustable. And i also found a different tree train for less than half the price i paid for this one, so i will be returning this product.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really good product. The music is a bit too loud. It comes with extra accessories that you can attach. I attached a toy monkey to make it even more interesting for my little one.

I was very excited to order this because my grandmother had a train that rode around her Christmas tree and I always thought it was so magical. The train was easy to put together however the tracks were very difficult to put together. This is a cheaply made train set and I would not recommend. You can feel the lack of quality of the item upon holding it. My daughter loves it but the tracks do fall apart easily and she becomes frustrated due to this issue.

For me, this is the perfect item I wanted to add to my holiday decorations. Before and after the gifts are placed under the tree, there's just this open space. So I bought the train set to fill in the void. However, my tree is artificial and is 6 1/2 fee tall. This train set is too small for such a large tree. So I am returning it. If your tree is at 5 feet or under, it may be perfect for you.
