This device actually works pretty well for the devices I use it for. I normally use this to connect my google slate to other monitors. Obviously I need an additional adapter to convert HDMI to type c but it actually works pretty well afterwards. I am able to connect my slate to two monitors without much issue. It outputs a good resolution and does not require any real additional power to be used. It only provides one of each type of plug so be aware of that if you are planning to plug into multiple monitors. I had to use VGA and DVI and it wasn't too hard to plug in. I also tried the AUX port and it actually provides pretty decent sound to the speakers I have. The box is a bit heavy if you use it with the plugged in cables so make sure you have it stationed on the table to ensure it does not damage the port. The device can be a bit warm as well when it is in use so make sure there is proper air flow. Overall I think this device is great. Effective one adapter approach for any video output to monitor

I would give this 5 stars because it does truly work. It connected my monitors from vga to hdmi and dvi to hdmi. It even allowed me to connect 2 monitors at once (to the adaptor) as a duplicate display. The ONLY thing I don’t like is it kept rebooting my computer everytime I connected it to my computer. Hopefully it’s just an issue with my computer or power supply.

I finally found an adapter that will do an active conversion from HDMI to DVI. That is rare. Read on for some technical details: HDMI is supposed to be backwards compatible with DVI, but that comes with some caveats. The biggest ones are that the source needs to be able to 1. detect that it's connected to a DVI display and 2. switch to a DVI mode. Nearly every HDMI to DVI adapter you find is a passive adapter that lets the source sort those two things out. However, some sources fail one or both of those functions and then won't work with a DVI display. This adapter outputs a proper DVI signal from those type of problematic HDMI sources and it will even strip out audio to a separate output as a bonus.

This product lasted less than a year. I purchased this in Feb 2022 and in Dec 2022, the connection began to flicker and my monitor would lose the signal after a few seconds of use. While the product is easy to install and worked well for 10 months, I guess you get what you pay for that it stopped working within the year.

Do you even understand how hard it is to find something that accepts an HDMI signal and spits out a DVI signal? Exclusively, you find VGA. HDMI in, VGA out. Like $7, works perfectly, a billion alternatives to choose from if one brand is a bust. Easy as pie. What about HDMI to HDMI+audio? Yeah, well, they're probably 2-3× the price, but they exist and they work relatively well. It's a smaller use case but it makes sense, some monitors don't support audio and you need to split the Audio out, even though the cable supports audio. Makes sense. But HDMI to DVI + audio? You might as well resign yourself to frustration. It's going to be annoying. Tons of solutions that consist of cheap [redacted] products that probably do not work half of the time. I have sent back 4 different products that claimed to be the solutions I needed, but weren't. This works. It's not expensive, it's just $20 or so, but it's not nearly free like all of the other alternatives, but it works, it just works, plug it in and it works. Hallelujah. Tested DVI, HDMI, and VGA out, they all supported audio. It's magical. Is there latency? Picture degradation? Audio problems? Can't tell honestly, so I don't care.

I really like this product and wanted it to work for my setup. Visually, it is great. But the main feature I wanted this for (DVI & separate 3.5mm audio) is broken. The audio works, but the left & right stereo is reversed. After troubleshooting several devices, cables, and spending way too much time on this, ConnBull support kindly sent me a replacement. The 2nd unit had the same audio issue. It's a design flaw, unless I was sent 2 bad adapters. Maybe most people don't notice left & right audio positioning. But for movies or games, that's a deal breaker. If you buy this, make sure the audio channels have accurate output. Had the audio worked correctly, I'd give it 4 maybe 5 stars.

Works well and has multiple options. Needed it for an old monitor. So far so good.

Great useful gadget Small and convenient

L'adattatore non è di dimensioni tanto contenute, ma è veramente completo e funziona egregiamente. L'adattatore trasforma una porta hdmi in: VGA, DVI, HDMI e uscita audio jack 3.5mm in contemporanea. L'ho utilizzato principalmente per collegare monitor vga e DVI al notebook e in entrambi i casi ha funzionato alla perfezione. Non si è scaldato, il video è rimasto perfetto senza distorsioni come l'audio. Provvisto anche di un ingresso per l'alimentazione esterna devo dire che per il momento non ho dovuto utilizzarla perché l'adattatore fa funzionato perfettamente prendendo l'alimentazione solo dall'ingresso hdmi. Probabilmente in applicazioni particolari bisognerà alimentarlo esternamente. Sicuramente non è molto piccolo, ma sembra ben fatto e robusto. Usato sia con windows che con linux non ho avuto alcun problema di riconoscimento dei monitor. Vista la mia esperienza lo consiglio a chi come me ha bisogno di un adattatore completo sempre a portata di mano.

Un petit boitier génial qui ml’a permis de ressusciter mon vieux 27’ DELL qui n’avait pas de port HDMI et ou les adaptateur plus simplistes (cable HDMI vers DVI ou connecteur transformant HDMI vers DVI) ne fonctionnaient pas. Marche parfaitement avec PC portable, consoles, Pie etc… le top :) Pour l’alimentation du boitier, le port usb dispo sur mon écran suffit très bien.

Old monitor had DVI connecter, new computer tower did not. Adapter worked to connect to tower so didn't have to buy new monitor. Whew. Well worth the price.
