So the first time I put this on my dog it was nice, smelled like herbs he sleeps with me so it didn't irrate my skin which I have sensitive skin. But he did end up itching, I couldn't find a flea on him so I believe it helped keep them off. It does take patience because you constantly have to keep up on it with your pets but I'm really impressed that it's gentle for them and us.

The packaging makes it difficult to use. There was a good 2 inches missing, but I guess it's because it settled. But the holes in the top of the shaker are WAY too big, so when I gently tried to sprinkle just a little bit out, a ton came out, with dust everywhere, and my cat and I were both choking. I used a comb to try to spread it around, but it didn't really want to spread. And the critters just concentrated in the areas I was trying to avoid, like around her eyes. However, when all is said and done, she ends up with some relief.

After months of vet bills, blood work, ointments, creams, shampoos, sprays and pills...This stuff, in one fell swoop seems to be correcting the issue to near extinction in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. That's huge. For someone on a budget and having exhausted most options in my financial reach...yeah it pretty freaking big deal. Here's what i did.Day 1:I sprinkled it generously like carpet freshener in target areas where my dog hangs out around the house.I also sprinkled it on bedding (says its safe to do so)...in corners and some hidden areas.... Smelled like sage. Herbs.Dog had no adverse reaction to it.A few Days Later...i decided to ensure it got into every crevice if the room. So i sprinkled it on bedding, the dog, carpet and i got out my dog blow dryer (the strong kind) and simply blew it everywhere... yes it was dusty....apparently this worked. So far, no new sores... or bite marks, no excessive scratching, and not a single flea....not even one. Like usually i'll see ONE....a dead one...something because shes a very active husky. But yeah....not even one.Im going on week two of the product an well....Its a keeper if it continues to work like this.

The fleas did not just jump right off as most other comments seem to suggest. My cat had a bad infestation of fleas that kept coming back. I would say the parasite dust was a good companion piece to the flea medicine, brushing, and baths. By itself it was ok with keeping it under control but never completely eliminated the little monsters. But combined with the other stuff, the fleas were finally destroyed. Smells like a pleasant green tea. Cat absolutely hated it but I am not taking her opinion into account.

I tried other products such as diatomaceous earth(great for plants), that worked some, even tried sulfur(scared to use directly on my cats. This worked great, few sprinkles and bam, the not see me bugs were gone. My cats are starting to gain their hair back. I believe when they got outside they picked up some type of tree mite. but this product got rid of those and fleas. Happy with the product, will order again.

I gave it two stars because it didn't really work for on my pets like the other people have comments saying that the fleas and ticks just jump right off. My cat still has fleas and I have been using this for a couple weeks. I did use it on my furniture though and I'm not getting bitten myself anymore, so it helped in that way.

This amazing item has changed our pets lives. First off, when do you see a pet welcome flea treatment. Both our cats and our dogs let me cover them with the dust and rub it in. Even they know that this stuff is good for them. We have no flea issues. And coming from Texas that is quite a feat. We have sprinkled this product in our home on the pet furniture, rugs, etc. I would recommend this item to anyone who asks. Its great to finally have a healthy alternative to the dangerous insecticides that are on the market.

We did as the instructions said on our cats, and obviously the fleas didn't like it, but it didn't evict them. We repeated treatment for a few days, too.
