This toy frequently get stuck in a tight spot such as between a piece of furniture and the wall due to it's random movements. The feather wand broke after turned on only 3 times for a short period. The instructions say you can buy replacement parts for the wand that holds the feathers, however I was unable to actually find and purchase replacement parts. They really should come up with a better construct for the parts. Or send additional pieces with the toy to begin with. Returned.

This is one of the best interactive cat toys I've had the pleasure of owning. The wheels act independently, so it will turn in all sorts of directions, plus they have good grip, which helps to keep the toy from getting stuck. I currently have 5 indoor cats from senior to almost a year old. My senior hides when this toy turns on. They other 4 cats all play with it. I've had it running for about a week now & have noticed a decline in interest. It does still get played with but not like it did the first day. One charge lasts about 2 days (I turn it off at night). It takes about 2 hours to charge.My one complaint is the wand the toys attach to. My cats have chewed this badly. I put a bunch of tape around it to deter them. The wand is just about finished. The toys (feathers, bird, & ribbon) are all intact & not in need of replacement. Granted, I have some real pain in the A cats who love to chew anything & everything. I don't know why. Anyway, the problem is, there is only one wand. It looks like the replacement toys don't come with a new wand either (hopefully that changes). It provides countless hours & days of entertainment.If your cat isn't prone to chewing, this smart cat toy is likely to be a hit. I suggest taking it away every now & again to keep their interest in it. Now that mine showed a decline in interest, I put it away. I'll take it out again in a week or so.I also want to mention that I also got another of these toys from a different seller. I thought perhaps there would be a small difference between the two toys, but they are in fact identical. I don't know what the deal is with that. Same seller with different accounts? At least now I have another plastic wand...Overall, this is a great product that needs more wands.

I was hoping at this price point, it would be a viable alternative to the $100 Mousr.Nope. This thing has ran over my cat's fluffy tail. Multiple times. And she's fast.Got stuck on walls, banging them again & again, with large, heavy, rubber 4x4 wheels.If you give it the option of open road or running into a solid surface, it will choose the surface.The surface can be a wall, foot, coffee table, doesn't matter.I have open space & an active cat but this thing is confused.As much as I am not a fan of apps, Mousr works bc you can adjust speed & movement.And it's lightweight enough not to bully to my cat.Did I mention when she creeped up on it, stuck on the couch leg,the wand bopped her on the head?I won't even donate this to the shelter.Took off the toys to tie to a string & the base is going to Office Depot for electronics recycling.Truly do not get all the rave reviews.This had to be made by dog people.If you want a good (safe) cat toy, ping pong balls.Even the shelter raves about how the cats can't get enough.

Cat loves it, have no idea how long it will last. This is a fun little active toy that times out after 10 minutes and then apparently rests for 90 minutes and starts back up again. Our cat followed it around, batted the feather hanger and was disappointed when it stopped. It has a sensor on the "front" that seems to see obstacles or the cat and make it spin and change direction. You charge it up with standard USB power like phones etc..After using it for a while, I had to take off two stars. First, it is too powerful for the cat to have fun with. When it is swinging around it hurts if it hits you, needs a half-speed button. Because of that the cat just looks at it now and won't get close to it. Also caused by the high speed is the noise when it hits a wall or any solid object . . . really loud sounds like someone is breaking into the house.The toy is retired . . . darn, really good idea poorly executed.

Omigosh! This is such a cute toy!!! I almost didn't select it for review but am glad I did. It's fun to watch even if cats don't interact with it because it just goes all over the place and has some really interesting moves. I have furniture and stuff all over the house but that doesn't seem to matter since it will bump into something and then suddenly change direction and zoom off. If it goes underneath furniture it will eventually come back out. It's very well made and there's nothing construction-wise that I can find to complain about. It should hold up to even a big cat playing with it. It moves really fast on hardwood floors but slower on carpet. I think the speed on carpet is much better for cats to chase. When we let it loose on the hardwood floors it just zooms around too fast. Our cats took a while getting use to it but now both seem to like it pretty well. One of my cats will now seek it out and drag it around the house even when it's turned off.

Our russian blue cat loved it and can't stop playing with it. Problem is, the wand broke on first 10 minutes, and we don't know how to remove the broken stub from the main toy.They should have made the wand more sturdy since the cat would naturally be swatting at it a lot, and the robot toy kinda bumps and hits the floor with the wand often.

Cat not into it unfortunately. Echo other reviewers thoughts it should have options to go for longer than 10 minutes. It takes him that long to decide if it's with interacting with, then it goes off for over an hour, so that's frustrating. Very well made though. Didn't arrive with all the wands as advertised.

My cat loves this! But the feather one broke and only the yellow ball left. Hopefully the yellow one doesn’t break soon.
