Ingrid's book is about learning to live your life from an inner place. A place that allows you to access your inner wisdom and get in touch with feelings and feeling your body. She talks about how we have gotten to a place of stress in our lives and informs us on how to let go of that. She mentions the fact that not only are our minds, thought and actions so stiff and so frozen, but it also effects our health.I highly recommend this book it is a jewel and will guide you on a new path of effortless living that brings joy and well being into each moment. I hope that she writes another book, her input and the way she writes is like listening to a dear friend who has your best interest in mind. Awesome book, I have highlighted it and will treasure it and go back to it for inspiration many times.

This book was part of a workshop preparation. I recognized my own life's journey in the authors journey and felt it read my lifestory. The way she breaks it down into easy to read and understand chapters for the reader who may not have had experiences to this extend but is ready to make a change to live "effortless" and learn the "secrets" that our society unfortunately does not teach us in school (wouldn't it be amazing?) Is what made me reorder the book for my clients.-

This book is a powerhouse. It describes how we effort so much, logically takes us through what needs to be done and provides very practical strategies for achieving effortless living (and much more). I'm reading it for the second time and realizing the wealth of information there is in this book. Go slowly and absorb each chapter. I wish I had read this when I was working. Maybe I wouldn't have burned out my adrenals. I am giving this book to my daughter and friends.

The book is excellent and succinct but you do need to buy the accompanying CDs to perform the exercise if you are serious about meditation.It does take time and I'm not even close after about 2 weeks. It's difficult to detach or think of "emptiness". However, it seems to ease some of my stress.

I am so grateful to Ingrid Bacci for creating this powerful book. The more I practice the simple tools she so beautifully describes in her book, the easier and more effortless my, once-crazy, life becomes.

This book is designed to help people live life with less stress and fear. It is well written and thoughtful. More than that, it is written by a woman who has been through significant trauma and who worked herself out of it. She has practiced what she preaches. In addition, she has done a lot of research which she uses well. In short, this is a solid, well-grounded book full of practical exercises that work. This is the book so many self-help writers must wish they had written. It has helped me enormously.

I bought it at the recommendation of a friend, but it turned out nothing inspiring, only rehashing the cliches and familiar ideas. When I mentioned that to the friends, she admitted that she had not read it herself! What a waste.

Ingrid's explanations are amazing! The way she broke things down made it easy to understand and read. I'm only half way into the book and I'm so hooked! If she has anymore books, I probably will buy more. The quality was just as the seller said. No complaints at all. :) Thank you to the seller and author!
