WOODLAND WHISPERER BEAT OUT A $4000 SET OF HEARING AIDS...NO B.S.
THIS HEARING AID IS SUPERB...MY MOM WAS EXAMINED BY AN AUDIOLOGIST WHO RECOMMENDED SHE PURCHASE A $4000!!! SET OF HEARING AIDS WHICH CREATED A SOMEWHAT TINNY, UNPLEASANT SOUND. WHILE SHE WAS WAITING FOR THE EXPENSIVE HEARING AIDS TO ARRIVE AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE (A SIX WEEK WAIT) I PURCHASED 2 WOODLAND WHISPERER HEARING AIDS FOR A FEW BUCKS TO TIDE HER OVER. THEY ARRIVED BY MAIL IN 3 DAYS. NO JOKE...WHEN MY MOTHER COMPARED THE CHEAP WOODLAND HEARING AIDS TO THE $$4000 PROFESSIONAL EAR PIECES SHE SAID THE WOODLAND WHISPERER HAD A MUCH MORE NATURAL SOUND AND SHE WEARS THEM INSTEAD OF THE EXPENSIVE SET....TRUE STORY.

I already have great hearing so with this it enhances some sounds but suppresses others. However I also where ear plugs to concerts, so the average Joe will probably hear better then before.

didn't work upon receipt
I ordered the Woodland Whisper 11 but upon receipt it did not work. I put in the battery but get no sound coming through at all. Very disappointed. I've seen others have enjoyed this product, but wonder if this is a defective unit. Thought the fact it clips under the ear was great & really would like to use it if a replacement could be made.
