You can find the Otterbox for a Pixel phone most anywhere, but you pay way more than you will if you buy at Amazon Prime. When I googled the the product, there were many sites to choose from. The first thing that jumped out at me was that the cost started out at $49.99. When I came across the Amazon Prime image, I thought that it was a misprint or that the product was low quality. I WAS WRONG. The Otterbox came in a generic style box, but the product was definitely genuine. I bought my Pixel 3a a week before I got the Otterbox. The phone seemed too small, too light weight, and too fragile to me, but I knew that would change somewhat after I got a protective case for it. Once I put the Otterbox on, I was really surprised at how solid and protected it was. Definitely one of the best decisions I've made concerning any phone product, for both the price and the product value.

I bought my first Defender Otterbox for my Pixel 3a in April of 2020. It was purple and it lasted me three years. I wanted another in the same color, but the cost of this one is what swayed me to it. I got the exact same parts and the exact same quality of a Defender Otterbox for significantly cheaper, and I'm very pleased. It doesn't feel flimsy or like a knock-off at all-- this is a genuine Otterbox, it just comes in a different box. I brought this because the rubber outside of my first one was deteriorating after three years of moderate use, and I think that's a pretty darn great life-span. The plastic inner part was still in great condition, and my phone had no drop or water damage to speak of since I got it in 2020. This is high quality and lasts a very long time. A great investment. Highly recommend.

And I could not get my phone into the case until I'd fiddled around with it a bit. I thought I'd broken it at first. Here's what to do: There are 3 parts to the case. Peel off the rubber piece, then carefully separate the hard plastic pieces. You'll wind up with a hard plastic tray, a thin hard plastic frame, and the rubber piece. Place your phone in the hard plastic tray. Then snap on the thin hard plastic frame. Then put it in the rubber piece. It's the only way I was able to get my Google Pixel 3a into the case. It's very sturdy. It's a bit bulky for carrying in your pocket. I would have given this 5 stars, but took one off for the lack of instructions.

It's a very durable case for a phone that isn't the most durable. It took a bit of time to figure out how to install it, but once I got it down, it's fantastic. The case includes built-in flaps for the headphone jack and USB port for dust protection, which is a nice plus. The opening for the fingerprint sensor has a groove under it that makes it easy for you to guide your finger, which for me is nice as I had to otherwise feel for it or look at it to unlock my phone. It comes with a holster with a belt clip that can convert to a little stand by gently snapping back (use with care). It does not have a screen protector, but it's not a deal breaker for me and it's easy enough to find one that works with this case. It's durable and has saved my Pixel more than once since installing it on. That's about it, not much else I can say about a phone case. If you're considering getting an Otterbox Defender for your Pixel 3a, get this one. It's about half the price compared to other retailers and it's the same thing. Great value.

Nice case

I had never cracked a phone screen in my 15+ years of cell phone ownership. That was until this year when I cracked my phone screen twice in 3 months. After spending a few hundred in screen repairs, I decided to buy a new case. The OtterBox defender has saved my phone multiple times. It's not cute, and it is bulky, but it works! It was easy to install and has held up very well with no scratches.

I've had very good luck with my first otter box , but it wore out after 2 years. first to go is the rubber at the bottom that covers the charging port. I wore the volume buttons out after the 2 year mark and had to buy another because the rubber was disintegrating. I am not complaining about the product just mentioning what to expect. I like that it's that kind of rubber so I can keep a good grip on the phone. rubber wears out.

Got it for my wife it's very well made and should protect her phone unless she is very unlucky

Case is sturdy and tough. But it made the phone a bit bulky. That's why I got the clip. Update: Case has tendency to bend the phone in the bottom right corner. If you have a class screen protector, it will start to peel from the bottom left corner.

Adds to the size and weight of the phone, but essential if you are on jobsites or any area where your phone is subjected to dust and falls. Already saved the phone several times. Definitely suggest a glass screen protector to complete the security

I like the case but it doesn't protect the screen. My misunderstanding. I will have to his screen saver.

Easy to assemble. Phone is a bit more bulky and weighs more but it feels protected. Great case.
