I have a Dell 7486 Chromebook, my original battery failed this week at only 2 yrs old. The battery I just purchased from Amazon works perfectly!!! I hope it lasts more than 2 yrs.

Got this battery for my Chromebook, originally I was supposed to get this battery Friday and I got it this afternoon. Willing to do business again.

This replacement laptop battery for various Dell systems is nice. It comes with the tools you need to help open your laptop in case you don't have them already, and is a 1:1 fit for the replacement battery. Charges well and seems to work fine so far. My one complaint is that the battery doesn't come with the cable that goes between the battery and the motherboard. Sometimes it turns out your battery is ok and the wire is bad, and it would be fantastic if this came with that. Unfortunately, no dice. Only bad mark I can put against it. Otherwise, seems to work well! If you aren't worried about the connector cable coming with, this seems like a great purchase!

This was exactly what I needed. Previously I had gotten a battery that said it was for my model, but it wouldn't boot up with it inside. This one booted up no problem, so I checked, and there's different types for these models. Just because yours is a 5520, doesn't mean every battery for a 5520 will work. Crazy, right? But it's true! So make sure you're double/triple/quadruple checking! I will say that, out of the ones I got, this is the one that finally worked on my G15 with the Nvidia RTX3060 6gb inside of it, so, if you've got that model, you should be just fine. But, still ALWAYS check because you could have some other feature that mine doesn't that makes your battery completely different even though it'll fit just fine. Likewise you don't want an overpowered battery in yours because it'll harm your system. It holds a charge great, powers the beefy gpu no problem, and can handle smaller AI inference loads, so, I'm well beyond pleased with it. Easy as pie to install, too, and came with all the screwdrivers I'd ever need.

Was a direct drop in replacement and worked without issue. Even included a small tool kit to assist in opening up the laptop in the case that you do not have the tools already. The included screw drivers were a bit small but would get the job done in a pinch. Laptop started right up after the replacement, new battery showed 0% wear.
