Lasted two days
I have a number of products from ALPS mountaineering and found them to be very dependable, however this chairs frame broke on the second day of use. Save you money.

I Was Not Sure What To Expect (With Weird Suggestion)
I have a hard time with portable chairs. My family can usually make due with most chairs, but each one of us has a set of requirements we need for a chair to work. Let's take a look at this chair.WHAT IS THIS CHAIR LIKE?This chair is surprisingly lightweight. It comes in a drawstring pack which has a shoulder strap on it (it is black). The chair itself folds up easily into a pretty small size. The chair has a net back which has pockets on it. The metal posts slip into that once it is open and it makes a taut back rest.FABRICThe fabric of this chair is a tight nylon type weave. It is very strong yet air passes through it. The binding is a chartreuse green and the chair itself is black.FEETThe feet are pads which are round and sit well on top of uneven ground, including sandy soils.ARMSThe arms have a padding in them which I am sure will need to be replaced over time due to deterioration, but that should be easy enough to sew up and velcro into place or something in the future. I will cross that bridge when I come to it if the chair is still working for me.COMFORTThis chair is surprisingly comfortable. It is low to the ground, so I can not always get out easily with my back stiffness, but it is still doable. The legs stick straight out in front, but not so much that it is a strain on my lower back. My husband who tends to like to be more upright is okay with this chair, but I like it better.WEIGHTThis chair is probably not going to support much over 200lbs despite what they claim in the write up. I would stay below 250 max if you want to make it last.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is an easy to carry, reasonably lightweight chair. It has a nice carry back, folds up easily and breathes well when sat in. It works on various terrain and even adapts somewhat to uneven ground.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I like this for camping and outdoor work, especially when I want my legs out in the sun. It seem to support my back reasonably well and I can sit in it for a while without pain or discomfort. I am very glad to have this chair and would buy another based upon my experience so far.WEIRD SUGGESTIONSo, here I am sitting in my new chair very happy with it, and my husband came in and said, "Hey, our daughter is at a festival selling items at a table. Maybe she could use that chair"I looked at him thinking he was joking, but could see he wasn't. All I could envision is a person looking at merchandise at this table with a disembodied voice (of person sitting on the ground out of view) suddenly saying, "Can I HELP you?"I busted up laughing.

Decent chair but no cup holder
Pros:-heavy duty-very breathable-eye catching contrasting colors-see through so toddlers can still be seen playing behind it-low to the ground so you can stretch your legs outCons:-no cup holders-may be difficult for some to get up out of since it's low to the ground-on the pricey sideAfter using this at the beach for several days, I really missed having a drink holder attached to this chair. Sand didn't easily fall through the mesh so it still required tipping to remove sand.it was very comfortable though. At the time of this review the retail price was around $65 which is steep for this chair. I did see it on sale for around $52 which is better. If you really want a cup holder though, either bring your own or pass on this chair. Thanks for reading and I hope you found this helpful.

Love it! Super comfy, lightweight, easy to open/close, but sits much lower than expected.
This is a really great chair if you can handle how low it is. The online picture gave me the impression that it was a bit higher - I knew it was a low beach chair type chair, but I think it's the lowest one I've ever experienced. When I sit in it I'd say my bum is maybe 3 inches off the ground, and I'm an average, 5'4" size 6-8 female. However, once you get down in it, it is really, really comfortable! It absolutely beats sitting on a blanket on the ground. It's not so narrow that you feel the metal edges against your arms or sides (but that could be size dependent). I can definitely sit in it for hours and be very comfortable - something I can't say for sitting on a blanket with no back support or bummy cushion at all. It's also more comfy than a regular folding lawn chair as your legs are essentially stretched out rather than hanging down like a regular tall lawn chair (again, this might be a short person issue & a taller person might find that position with legs vertical quite comfortable). This chair is great for the beach, riverside, poolside, etc. as it's mesh so wouldn't have any problems if it gets wet & would dry super quickly. Because it's mesh it's also great if it's really hot out, as the mesh decreases the feeling of hot you can get against a solid surface type chair. It's super lightweight - one person could easily carry a few of them without fatigue. You pretty much just pull/stretch it open and squish it closed - not sure the best way to describe it other than that. It comes in a well sized carry bag - by well sized I mean it's not like some tents/sleeping bags that take 12 people to try and shove it back in the bag. This goes in easily with room to spare. you could probably stuff a towel or little neck pillow in with it for carrying. The price seems a little steep when you can get folding beach chairs at Target or Walmart for much less. However, I think they're worth it because they're definitely much lighter weight and more comfortable than any of the cheaper ones we've bought in the past. I'd suppose that they'll last a really long time if taken care of - such as keeping it in it's case when not in use instead of sitting open out in the sun.Good chair, worth it!
