Robbins and Cotran Pathology Flash Cards: With STUDENT CONSULT Online Access (Robbins Pathology)

These cards are great. They come with a hole punched in them and a ring so you can separate sections and study phase relevant material. I know some people complained about having information on both sides of cards and then they would potentially see the answer for the question on the other side before reading the question....I just do one side of the card and move to another card and come back to the other side after finishing other cards to ensure I know the material. The person who made these cards is absolutely brilliant and is a question writer for the usmle. So with that said I feel like these will be a huge help in studying for step as well as material throughout MS1 and MS2 curriculum

Excellent board review material for any one who wants to excel in the usmle boards. The quality of the cards is excellent and the ringed card holder that comes with the package is innovative reducing the stress of having to pack and arrange the cards over and over. The content of the material coupled with its design and ease of use makes it a must have for pathology boards examinees especially usmle candidates.

These flash cards are a lifesaver. They condense key information. Also, they provide high definition graphics of the diseases. Best purchase yet.

I don't understand why the format for kindle has the questions & answers right on top of each other. These are great images and case presentations but the format is so distracting/ infuriating. Need to do better.

I recommend waiting for the next version of these cards or until enough people complain about its format to get it changed. There is nothing wrong with the contents of the cards but what you'll be annoyed by is that you're exposed to answers before the questions. The way it's formatted is that on each side of the card, there are questions on the top half but on the bottom half, they also provide answers to the questions on the other side. So half of the time you're going through the cards, you will be exposed to the answers before seeing the question. It's not really an effective way to test yourself and it defeats the purpose of flash card studying. The publisher must have designed it this way to cut cost.If you do get these flash cards, take advantage of electronic version through Student Consult and the phone app, Inkling. The format is much better. You're provided questions first, and answers are revealed when you're ready. I've been studying the flash cards on my phone which is much more convenient than have to carry the cards with you.

Great tool. Not a medical student in the world can live without Robbins and these flashcards are a fun way to stay motivated you are getting the concepts down.

These must be my fav flashcards for revising, can’t fault them, brilliant addition to my home library and ‘a must’ on every medical course
