I tried a lot of different string lights trying to find a color I liked, and these are a bit yellow for my taste. These are absolutely the best: nice thick wire, bigger LED lights, pack includes the reel to wrap the string around for storage what is great. Also remote control, and a plug for an electric outlet. Will buy another one for the next Christmas season. Definitely worth my money.

**Updated: Buways has good Customer Service. They did contact me and are offering to send a new set of lights to resolved our issues.Worked for about three weeks after installation and now will no longer turn on. They are out of the window for return to Amazon. According to the paperwork that came with the fairy lights they have a 90 day manufacturer product guarantee and a worry free 12 month guarantee. I have reached out to the manufacturer and will update my review if they replace them but as of right now, I would not recommend that anyone purchase these fairy lights.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wanted a safe way to record my ferrets playing with lights and these are perfect. They stay cold to touch, the ferrets bounce through the wires easily, and it shows up perfectly on the recordings. USB is plug and play. Very happy with my purchase!

Just got this item 3 days ago. Worked my butt off decorating the tree and enjoyed the beautiful lights for two whole days until this evening. I turned on the lights and went to make dinner. Ten minutes later the tree was dark. I reached for the plug to make sure it was plugged it and it was but super hot. I removed it from the wall, plugged it back in and watched. Within 1 minutes the lights shut off and I could smell the burning electronics from the USB plug that came with the lights. Very scary. Now the whole strand is unusable.***Update* After contacting customer service about the issue, they sent two new sets to replace the defective one. These sets were perfect and show no signs of wire crimping. They were very prompt and worked hard to make me happy. Impressed by their dedication to correcting a problem and that's nice in this day and age of companies ignoring their customers. Hoping to get many years of use out of these lights.

I set up these fairy lights in our backyard. They are powered by USB so I just use an adapter so we can turn them on. There is a remote included and it makes it so fun to turn them on. It has 8 different modes, but I usually just leave it on still mode so they blend in with our string lights. They are weatherproof and create a magical ambiance in our backyard.

The remote works from any place in the room! I have same lights from an other company, which I ordered a lot earlier, and I have to be 3 feet away to turn them on.... and they have thinner cord. These ones are so much better!!!
