Made well & sturdy, sizing chart is spot on, fits perfectly. Straps are adjustable & strong. This has been a good send for lifting my girl in & out of the car & bath. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I four weeks ago have become foster parents to a 11 month old Labrador Retriever who suffers from Cerebellum Hypoplasia. This means she cannot walk unaided as her gait is very wobbly. After extensive research I found this full body harness on the internet and after reading the reviews sent for one. This harness has been a real game changer in the care of our lab’s welfare as well ourselves. I cannot speak highly enough about the product. It is well made, the material is strong but very soft for our girl, as we tend to leave her in it all day. It works well with or without the additional straps- we remove these for the majority of the time as she likes to chew them. From an exercise for muscle build up it is fabulous as we just need to give a little support with the additional straps which allows her to walk much further than her previous shoulder only harnesses. It is great for getting her in and out of the car. We have to lift her full body to do this and the harness supports her in an even balance extremely well during the procedure. It also has had a huge positive impact on our backs, in as much as it takes more of the strain when lifting her or manoeuvring her. Another great design feature is that the harness is in two pieces which is great for washing. As for the main part of her mobility she drags herself around on her belly, therefore it is usually only the under piece of the harness which gets dirty so that can be removed and washed separately. As you can see by my review I would high recommend this product and will be sending for a second one. Our Labrador is approximately 16kgs quite lean with a long body. With the measurement guide we purchased the large size.

This is a really good quality and strong harness. I have a large 13 year old lab as in the pics, this is the x large harness and it isn’t quite long enough in the body, but I can still pick him up comfortably. It’s really well made and padded and I couldn’t find anything similar in the uk so a really good find on Amazon. He stays in it all day and is comfortable enough, lost a star as it doesn’t fit perfectly. I would definitely recc if like mine your dog has difficulty walking due to stroke or arthritis

This harness was perfect for lifting our dog into the car but after 5 months of use one of the clips has snapped, such a shame. We have had to order another one and have gone for the same one as apart from the broken clip we were very happy with it

When your dog, companion, best friend etc., suddenly looses their ability due to no other reason than age, to sustain even short periods of standing or walking, without wobbles and loss of balance, but not for pain or any dislocation reasons, then of course you owe it to them to resolve their predicament with the least stress or anxiety to them and to have confidence in the harness being able to hold them without placing strain or restriction to the rib cage or breathing ability, let alone bladder or bowel pressures to yourself. After a lot of research, it was apparent that very few manufacturers of harness were designed for long term comfort and sustained human ability to lift and hold comfortably the dog for some time. Physiology of a dog requires pressure to be applied to their lower torso rib cage, the equivalent to our chest and stomach area, having thin width straps to lift would be a highly painful experience placing considerable spot pressure to the torso, and potential of rib damage or fracture if fully lifting the dog and man handling. This harness, provides a well developed large padded ‘breast plate’ equivalent to spread the load under the dogs under carriage. It even has a ‘porthole’ for male dogs ‘protrusions’ to still operate without ‘blockage !’ The manufacturers have thought hard about the application of this harness to a dog with limited mobility or one that is not keen on being prodded and poked to apply correctly. Instead of a typical over the head scrum, some serious wide Velcro bonds between the front legs preventing over-heading at all. The click fit clips and adjustment straps on the back are again robust and beyond fit for purpose. For my dog, although the measurements were precisely as guided, the web straps were not adjustable enough to get as tight a fix as I would have liked, but that’s just me. It fits fine actually and the most important being dog comfort. Because it traps in some warmth, mine has no problem wearing it at all and couldn’t care less. She weighs 33 Kgs and that is why the harness had to be robust and comfortable. Unlike many lesser robust harnesses, this one is again so well designed as to ensure that weight or load to point distribution is further down the back than many other designs. This is essential if you need to lift the dog. Choosing the wrong sort will mean a very uncomfortable experience for both you and your dog if lifting for more than a few seconds. The handle - if provided, and the centre of gravity will be too far forward. It is not on this one, and that is what one needs if ones dog is in need of repetitive support or lifting. Both a ‘grab’ handle and a ‘handbag’ type over the shoulder long webbing strap is provided should you need to over shoulder your dog for long period carrying. Utterly superb. Because my dogs dimension and proportion is not ‘typical’ it is not as tight a fit as designed. For that reason, and with our vets approval, the dog wears it perpetually. This would not have been implemented without veterinary inclusion, the ‘risk assessment’ otherwise would have not been as considerate towards fitting and comfort. YOU MUST take professional advice if you too would like to leave it on almost permanently. Bearing in mind the need to replace the hind legs stamina, and the toiletry needs, faffing about would be too long and the accident puddle or ‘eggs’ already deposited. Each use is of course unique to the dog in question, but for us, this is just perfect for purpose. Although her age (16+) and mobility condition has also required the use of doggy diapers, but only due to this weakness and not because she is vague. She is as embarrassed about any incidents as we are, and the combination of this harness and nappies has returned her dignity and removed the anxiety and worry when she gets the ‘urge’ to purge. Every other part of her body, including her intelligence remains as stealth like since forever and the frustration of this weakness is felt by us all. Without hesitation, this harness is completely recommended as described for use here.

Really helped as part of my dogs recovery (22kg border collie). Simple to use and comfy enough for him to wear in the house and sleep in. Huge help when he just needed support changing positioning the room

We have a small 17kg golden retriever so not a big dog. We found the harness very difficult to use, the photo gives the impression the holdall part underneath the dog is wide and supportive which it is not. When we tried to lift our dog the underneath cut into her and looks very painful, it is not wide enough to give any support. A shame but wasted money.

My elderly dog lost the use of all four legs. As a disabled person I could not lift him safely. I searched for a durable harness and was surprised not many were available for supporting all four legs. Yes there was a cheaper two piece harness our there but this one seemed more 'robust'. It is saving my back and I manage to put it on and use it very easy. My dog has to lay down to have a wee and I can put a pad inside the harness and the harness keeps it in place while he used it, so no going all over himself. Excellent product I highly recommend it. I can't believe they don't have it in the UK.

Amazing product!!! We’ve tried many in the past and this is by far the best and great price as well. Comfy for the dog and comfy for the owner as well. Adjusts a lot to get a great fit. If your looking for a good sturdy, comfortable and safe harness at a decent price look no further. You don’t have to bend so much to lift the dog as with others. It is safe so the dog does not slip out of it, a huge plus as others have failed miserably at that making an immobile dog even more scared of getting help. Easy to put on especially if you have a dog that can’t stand well, it has multiple ways you can Velcro the front or snap in the sides to making putting it on easier when you have a dog that can’t stand and don’t have to struggle with lifting them with them falling to safely put it on. It can slide over their head or go from the sides. Bar far the beat mobility harness we have ever tried and it’s a steal for the price!!!

Broken item.. want to return.. very bad experience

Compré este arnés porque mi perra dejo de caminar por el moquillo, con este arnés pude sacarla a que le diera el sol, el peso se distribuye bien, el asa es cómoda y el ajuste al perro en teoría es bueno. Nosotros tuvimos un problema con el ajuste al cuerpo de mi perra porque ella es talla mediana pero es muy delgada, entonces el arnés le queda bien en lo largo pero muy amplio en lo ancho. Pero en realidad lo recomiendo como arnés de apoyo para nuestros lomitos.

I am impressed by how well constructed this harness in. The buckles are big and heavy duty as are the straps. I like that the straps are more like a duffle bag with a strap coming off each side of the dog’s body and then joining. That’s going to be far more durable than a single strap sewed down the middle. Also the straps make the harness very customizable for your dog and easy to get off and on. My dogs default when I try to put something on him is to lay down but I was still able to get it on him. Changes I would like to see is a cooler mesh based option. My dog is fat and gets hot and this is too heavy of fabric unless it was winter. Also I would like back leg straps because my fat dog is tube shaped and that allows this to ride up like a kid wearing too big of a life jacket. Also I would like the cutout allowing male dogs to pee to be larger. It’s a narrow slot and might not match up to every male dog’s anatomy. I am sending back because my sausage shaped dog hates t but if you have a dog shaped dog instead of an obese dog then this should work great for you.
