Organic Saw Palmetto Powder

Good quality product. Too early to comment on its efficiency with Pumpkin Seed Oil for hair loss. Tastes good.

I purchased this item a year ago, noticing that saw palmetto was a main ingredient in all hair regrowth supplements. Upon my research, I came across this particular brand and loved that it was organic and did not come in a pill form. Every morning I either mix in my morning coffee or breakfast smoothie and I can't taste if its bad or good. I have been consistent for the past year and have noticed a positive change in my hair growth. After having two kids, being sick with COVID twice and perimenopausal, my hair was not the same. This is a great product and lasts me a few months before I have to repurchase. So the price is definitely worth how long it lasts.

I started taking this a year ago to see if it would help my thinning hair. I eat healthy, work out, but my hair...!!! It was still getting thin! I read an article about saw palmetto not only for men but women. So, I gave it a shot. After about 3 weeks I noticed my hair was not falling out nearly as much. About 3 months ago I stopped taking it each day and after about 2 months I noticed my hair coming out a lot in the shower. I've started up again and after about a week I notice my hair is not coming out like it was when I was "off" it. I think the saw palmetto tastes disgusting - not sure on the reviews that say it has no taste - I think it's gag worthy. So, here is how I cover the taste. I put it in homemade nutmilk in my Vitamix. (You have to have a blendtec or Vitamix for this recipe - for some reason it won't work in any traditional blender, I've tried) Start with: 1/4 cup raw cashews, 1 date, 1 TBS hemp seed - blend on high for 2 min. Then I add 1 TBS of raw cacao, and a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon as well as a dash of mineral salt and raw honey or maple syrup. Sometimes I add less water and add coffee or Teeccino instead to make a truly satisfying "latte". Oh, and coconut butter or MCT oil is delish in here too. Of course I add the serving size of my saw palmetto and I'm set. I don't even need lunch after this calorie dense drink. The consistency is just like a real latte made with milk. You can use most kinds of raw nuts - but almond skins will make it grainy. I've enjoyed the creaminess of the raw cashews.

I just received it today put a scoop in some water with no type of sweeter or honey so I can experience the actual taste. And let me say I like the fact it's not nasty or delicious just a simple taste mild and anyone should be able to drink this. Also it dissolved very well in water. Now the wait I will wait and see over a month period do I see this benefiting my prostate health.

After decades of using saw palmetto, I can say this seems like one of the highest quality ones I've had in a very long time. It's light tan in color the way it should be (not dark brown like dirt, the way some other sellers give it nowadays) and the taste is actually GOOD. I enjoy taking a scoop of the powder and enjoying the after taste after I wash it down.

This is a good product, and one of the best ways to get the actual benefits of saw palmetto, as opposed to capsules or tinctures. I was surprised to see a photo appearing to indicate that the powder could be mixed with hot coffee, so contacted the manufacturer and received a reply stating, "Regarding your question about mixing the powder with hot coffee, we generally recommend avoiding exposure to high heat when using supplements, as it can potentially degrade some of the active compounds, including fatty acids, which may affect their potency. While the heat from coffee may not completely destroy the extract, we suggest mixing the powder with lukewarm or cool beverages to ensure the best possible absorption and effectiveness." Hope this is helpful to others.

I've been using this Saw Palmetto powder for a couple of weeks now and I'm really impressed. I’ve noticed a clear improvement in urinary flow and frequency — no more waking up multiple times at night. It also feels like it's helping with hair shedding. I appreciate that it’s organic and sustainably grown. Definitely sticking with this one!
