Great for fine hair
I had to find a replacement for widebody. My holy grail!!! For ladies or men who need volume and hair thickener use a gel like this blow dry by styling.. then add volume enhancing mouse then blow dry again!!! Then I use hair spray to finish!!! Btw a little Giovanni goes a long way and you can add more if needed!

This Giovanni Gel has a strong alcohol smell...
I’ve been buying Giovanni gel for quite some time from Amazon but this specific product was horrible. The gel contained a strong smell of alcohol and the gel itself was more fluid than how it usually is. The gel usually has a thick concentration and will not squirt out like this one. I will not buy from this seller anymore.

I've used and loved this for years
Have used and been happy with this for years. When I run out of it or try another brand, my thin/fine hair ends up looking.....well, thin and fine. It's more a volumizer than a styling gel. I haven't had the white flake problem, some reviewers mention. I use a dimeish+ amount to wet hair after ea shampoo, concentrating on my roots/scalp, working it up to the ends. It does do a somewhat setting gel thing but mostly it adds height and the appearance of thicker hair than what I actually have.

Waiting For Results
At this time I don't find it as successful as I had hoped but I intend to give it six months before I pass on it. Other Giovanni products, specifically shampoos, that I have used have been excellent for me.

This works well and is cruelty free so I'm happy with it. It was just the packaging that docked a star. About 10% of the gel had leaked out into the box.

Great for fine hair
I've been using this stuff for YEARS! I have shoulder length, baby fine, color treated hair. I haven't found anything else that I like quite as much. It provides a light hold and a noticeable improvement in body without a bunch of chemicals or a strong smell. I would highly recommend it to anyone with similar hair that wants to avoid chemistry!

Free of ingredients that I am sensitive to.
This product holds my curly hair well without being sticky and without the itchiness I get from other product.
