Great pants, waterproof and windproof, breathable, will stretch a bit!Normally wear size 32, tried sizes S and M. M was too loose, had to be returned. If I wanted to layer, M would be OK.Size S initially was a little tight, but after 2-3 wears they stretched to a comfortable fit.Reasonably warm and soft.Water rolls off them.Leg opening is wide enough to cover hiking boots.

They fit great and are comfortable but aren't very warm.I bought these for a camping trip to Mt Hood with the expectation that the temperature would be in the mid 30's. Even with thermal leggings under them I was still quite cold the entire trip.They are great for wind and water proofing but do not expect them to actually be warm. Maybe on if you are active such as hiking or hunting, but not for hanging around a camp, or just out in the cold.I say this as someone who is usually the warmest person in the room / camp.

Purchased Men's Medium just before the midwest "Polar Vortex"...whew! I was warm enough, had I wore some long underwear I would've been nice and toasty but I wanted to test the pants. Result...two thumbs up! They are windproof and waterproof but I wouldn't jump in the water with them. The length is a few inches too long but not a deal breaker so the knee folds are a little below my knees but not much, I'm 5'7". The elastic waste band is not bad, leaves room to tuck in shirts and things, there are belt loops if you'd want to wear one. The front button is not a snap button but a sliding latch. Happy to have gotten these pair.

I purchased the Mens Medium size. I usually wear 33" waist, 32" length and these fit perfect. The legs go over boots. I wore in rain, about 35-40F Temps with thermal underneath and stayed dry and warm. All 4 pockets have zippers. These pants are not super thick like snow pants, but not thin either. In between. Great buy for me.

Bought these for my husband for our trip to Iceland. He was planning to just wear jeans and long johns, but he grudgingly agreed to try these. Wore them every day of the trip with long johns underneath and was super happy with them. Kept him warm and dry, cut the wind and he said they were very comfortably as well. At the end of the week, he even thanked me for insisting he try them and plans to wear them for our next cold weather adventure. On a side note, they look enough like a casual slack (bought his in grey) that he could wear them with a sweater for business meetings on those rare occasions he must go to meetings in the coldest of weather (Michigan, Vermont, Maine -- and we live in Florida!).

I wore these for a hunting trip in below freezing weather and 2+ foot of snow for 3 days and stayed warm and dry the whole time. The others in my hunting party were asking me where I got them by the end of the trip. I think I will get a few more pair for next year.

I like the idea of having insulated pants while hiking. But these are more like snow pants, way too thick and restricting for hiking. They should remove hiking from the description. I still gave four stars because they do seem well made. I have a 33 inch waist and mediums were a bit loose on me, would definitely need a belt. They are also very noisy when you walk.

I'm so happy that I found these pants! I work outside and these pants keep me warm and dry, no matter the weather. I initially bought them thinking I would wear them over my regular pants, but it's not necessary. The pants fit like regular pants and the fleece lining feels great!Everyone's pants legs are different, but I hover between 33-35 waist and 32 Length. I'm 6'1" 190 lbs. I went with large and it's a great fit, especially if I want to wear long underwear or regular pants. I am curious to know the fit of the M and will probably make a test buy. But I'm definitely getting more.Finally, I couldn't believe the price. I honestly think they could get double the price for these pants.

The pants look good and feel pleasant but... I'm not sure how to use them. When I put them on indoor or in the car the legs get sweating and wet in 5 minutes(because they keep heat and moisture inside), then if I go outside it feels so cold because my legs are wet! Disappointed...
