ACCEL 35368 Performance Control Module
Other than having to purchase a special 7mm tool at the local NAPA store to remove and install this module, I am very pleased with the performance of this unit. It compliments the new performance Mallory ignition coil, Borg Warner HD cap and rotor, and Bosch plugs and wires.

watch warranty period
I didnt install this quick enough. It had a 30 day return. Didnt work properly. The vehical would not idle or run properly with this installed. I put the 28 year old OEM part back in and still runs great. I guess that I have no upgrade as they wont let me return it now.

Works as good as an OEM unit
Needed to repair my Ford after the ignition module failed. The OEM replacement from Ford was three times the cost of this aftermarket unit. It appears to work just fine, which is the best I could hope for.

I never could get my car to run right with this installed. I removed it and bought an OEM module instead.

DON'T DO IT!!!
Junk right out of the box. Made my truck have a random miss. After spending a good deal of money changing all my sensors I found that someone else had the same issue with their ignition module and decided to swap mine back out. This fixed the issue thankfully before I sold my truck out of frustration....

Not as compatible as claimed
Installed unit in '88 Bronco II with 2.9L V6, which is listed as compatible. Vehicle ran poorly with intermittent spark drop to various plugs. Timing was way off as well. Re-install stock Motorcraft unit and vehicle ran great. After contacting Accel, they told me I had a bad one, and so I got it replaced. Replacement caused the same issues. Contact Accel again, and they then confirmed its not actually compatible with at least the '88 Bronco II.
